Jacks Are Good for Braun

Roberto Castelli limped under the gun and Michail Kavouras raised to 10,000 from the hijack. Johannes Braun called from the small blind but Castelli gave up his hand.

The flop fell {q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{4-Spades} and was checked through to the {6-Hearts} turn and to the {k-Hearts} river. Both players checked again. Braun tabled {j-Hearts}{j-Spades} and Kavouras showed {9-Spades}{9-Hearts} before tossing his cards in the muck.

Ryduchowski's Shove Doesn't Get Through

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Joseph Bray opened to 4,000 and it was called by Pinchas Rebibo next to him and Daniel Negreanu on the button. Jan Ryduchowski moved all-in in the small blind for a stack around 22,000. "Come on!" said Negreanu jokingly, but Bray, Rebibo, and Negreanu folded and Ryduchowski grabbed the chips back.

Knapp Shoves on the River

Rene Knapp raised to 3,400 from mid-position and Sean Mills called from the big blind.

A flop reading {8-Clubs}{6-Spades}{6-Diamonds} was dealt and Mills checked. Knapp bet 2,500 and Mills check-called.

The turn was the {a-Diamonds} and both players opted to check it to the {3-Hearts} river. Mills checked once more but Knapp moved all in for 17,300. Mills gave up his hand.

Graf Forces a Fold from Ataoglu

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

In a raised pot, the flop showed {5-Clubs}{5-Spades}{k-Spades} when Manuel Graf checked in the small blind before moving all-in for a stack around 40,000 after Anil Ataoglu bet 8,400. Ataoglu went deep into the tank and eventually folded.

Braun's Shove Gets Through

Tarun Goyal raised to 3,500 from middle position and Martin Baranec three-bet to 10,000 from the cutoff. Johannes Braun four-bet jammed for 33,300 from the button and Goyal snap-folded but Baranec went deep into the tank, then opted to let it go as well.

"I folded two jacks,'' muttered Baranec.

"Good fold," answered Braun while raking in the pot.

Koby Blaiman raised to 3,600 from middle position and Rene Crha defended from the big blind.

The dealer spread a flop of {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}{j-Spades} that was checked through to the {a-Clubs} turn and the {k-Hearts} river. Both players checked again. Blaiman turned over {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades} for kings full of queens and Crhea mucked.
