Heartbreak for Burtscher on the Bubble

Level 17 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Christian Sarnacki opened to 10,000 in middle position and Erni Burtscher shoved all in for 37,000 in the small blind. Eduardo De Bellis asked for a count in the big blind and made the call. Sarnacki folded and the hands were tabled once the action finished at all of the other tables.

Eduardo De Bellis: {a-Spades}{8-Clubs}
Erni Burtscher: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

The crowd gathered around the table to see the flop of {k-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{4-Spades}. Most people returned to their seats after Burtscher flopped a set of kings but the {6-Hearts} on the turn got some murmurs going again. The {5-Diamonds} hit the river and De Bellis made a straight to eliminate Burtscher on the money bubble.

Girindra Sutoyo: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

Glinskii Stacks Sauka

Level 17 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Mak Sauka was first to act and ripped all in for 87,000. Aleksandr Glinskii asked for a count in middle position and then re-shoved all in over the top. The rest of the table folded and the two hands were face up.

Aleksandr Glinskii: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Mak Sauka: {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

Glinskii woke up with one pair higher than Sauka's and the flop of {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} gave Glinskii nothing to worry about. The {6-Clubs} on the turn provided some sweat as Sauka picked up a flush draw but the {10-Spades} on the river bricked off and Sauka headed to the rail.

Neuville Among the Leaders

Level 17 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Pierre Neuville is definitely the most aggressive player at his table and it helps to have the largest as well. Neuville raised it up from under the gun and Oliver Frey jammed all in for 27,000 on his left. The action folded back to Neuville who threw in the call with a laugh.

Pierre Neuville: {9-Spades}{8-Spades}
Oliver Frey: {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}

The flop came {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} and Neuville took the lead with a pair of nines. The {q-Hearts} on the turn and the {q-Clubs} on the river changed nothing and Frey was eliminated.

Glinskii's Ace-High is Better

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

In a three-bet pot, Aleksandr Glinskii and Omer Tamsot were heads-up with around 40,000 in the middle. The flop came {j-Spades}{8-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and both players checked to the {3-Hearts} on the turn.

Glinskii checked again from the big blind and Tamsot fired out a bet of 14,000. Glinskiii called and the {4-Spades} completed the board. Glinskii checked again and Tamsot decided to check it back. Tamsot whipped over {a-Spades}{q-Spades} for just ace-high and Glinskii tabled {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} for a better ace-high.
