Matok Sends Catska to the Rail

Level 6 : 200/400, 400 ante

Radek Catska was sitting on a stack of just over 20 big blinds but decided to move all in for 9,500 in middle position. Oz Matok flicked in a single chip to indicate a call from the small blind and the two hands were tabled.

Oz Matok: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Radek Catska: {k-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

The flop of {q-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades} left Matok in a commanding lead with just ace-high. The {2-Hearts} on the turn and the {8-Diamonds} on the river changed nothing and Catska was eliminated.

Good Call By Krawinkler; Still Busts

Level 7 : 300/500, 500 ante
Elad Teva
Elad Teva

Herwig Krawinkler was spotted in a hand against Elad Teva where the board was reading {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{10-Spades}{9-Spades} and Teva was all in after Krawinkler's 10,000 bet on the turn.

Krawinkler took a lot of time to decide his action until someone at the table called time to him and then he put the chips in the middle to call.

Herwig Krawinkler: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Elad Teva: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

Krawinkler had a set while Teva had a massive draw and the {5-Spades} on the river gave him a flush to sent Krawinkler to the rail.

Kings are Good for Martinovic

Level 7 : 300/500, 500 ante

Jacob Benchabat opened to 1,400 from under the gun and Dane Martinovic re-raised to 4,300 in the small blind. Adam Chochola called in the big blind and Benchabat shoved all in for 16,400. Martinovic re-shoved all in which got Chochola to fold.

Dane Martinovic: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Jacob Benchabat: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

It took a while for the cards to be turned over, but once they were, it was clear that Martinovic was in the lead. The board ran out {10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{a-Clubs} and Martinovic sent Benchabat to re-enter.

Macaluso Holds to Double Up

Level 7 : 300/500, 500 ante
Giovanni Macaluso
Giovanni Macaluso

Giovanni Macaluso was found all in with the flop showing {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}. His opponent was Tomas Pleticha who had {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts} with a flush draw while Macaluso held {9-Spades}{8-Clubs} for trips.

The {10-Spades} on the turn and the {j-Clubs} on the river didn't change anything and Pleticha was left short, busting in one of the next hands.

Gellman Doubles Through Laudicina

Level 7 : 300/500, 500 ante

Alexandra Laudicina raised it up from early position and Uzi Gellman called from the small blind. The flop fell {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}{10-Clubs} and it didn't take long for the two players to get all of the chips in the middle with Gellman at risk for 14,400.

Laudicina turned over {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts} but was drawing slim when Gellman showed {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}. The {6-Spades} on the turn and the {9-Hearts} on the river ensured Gellman of a double up after flopping a straight.

Harouch Takes from Amar

Level 8 : 300/600, 600 ante

Nir Amar and Tomer Harouch played a hand on a {10-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} board where Harouch bet 6,300 and Amar called.

The river was the {j-Spades} and Harouch bet 15,000 this time with Amar calling again, only to muck when his opponent opened {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} for a turned full house.

Still, Amar has one of the biggest stacks of the field.
