Pierre Neuville Eliminated in 18th Place (€7,768)

Level 31 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Pierre Neuville
Pierre Neuville

Dieter Becker opened to 250,000 in early position and Pierre Neuville three-bet to 800,000 on the button. The blinds folded and Becker shoved all in. Neuville quickly called off his stack of 1,760,000 and the cards were on their backs.

Dieter Becker: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Pierre Neuville: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}

The flop came {9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and Neuville was still looking good for a double up. The {6-Spades} paired the board on the turn but it was the {q-Clubs} on the river. Becker made a full house and Neuville stood in shock for a minute before exiting the tournament area.

Mohr Doubles His Short Stack

Level 31 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Marian Kubis opened to 260,000 in middle position with {a-Spades}{q-Clubs} and was called by Daniel Salner in the hijack with {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}. Christian Mohr three-bet shoved all in for 710,000 from the small blind with {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and Kubis re-shoved. Salner quickly folded and the remaining two hands were tabled.

The two players were flipping and the flop of {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{5-Clubs} gave Kubis some more outs with a straight draw. The {4-Spades} changed nothing on the turn and the {j-Clubs} paired the board on the river. Mohr scored a double up but is still shy of the average stack.

Charlie Defresne: {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Balazs Bistei: {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

The board ran out {10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and Defresne departed during the last two tables of the event.

Balasz Bistei Eliminated in 16th Place (€7,768)

Level 31 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Balazs Bistei
Balazs Bistei

The biggest pot of the event took place between Mick Heder and Balazs Bistei, which started with Heder opening to 250,000 from middle position and Bistei three-betting to 1,000,000 from the small blind.

Heder called and the flop came {7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs} with Bistei firing a continuation bet at 600,000. Heder tanked for a bit and announced all in with Bistei calling after a couple of minutes in the tank too.

Balazs Bistei: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Mick Heder: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

The {6-Clubs} on the turn was the demise of Bistei as he was left drawing dead. The {q-Diamonds} on the river completed the board and Bistei had 4.7 million behind while Heder had 4.9 million, with the first one leaving his seat in 16th place.

Grospellier With a Timely Check-Raise

Level 31 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Stefan Raschbauer made it 250,000 to go with {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} on the button and Bertrand Grospellier defended his big blind with {k-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}. The flop came {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and both players checked to the {2-Clubs} on the turn.

Grospellier checked again and Raschbauer threw in a bet of 225,000. Grospellier reached for a stack and pushed out a raise to 650,000. Raschbauer thought for a couple of minutes before slipping the best hand to the muck.

Small Pot Between Big Stacks

Level 32 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Mick Heder limped in and Pasquale Braco checked his option in the big blind. The {k-Hearts}{9-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop brought a bet of 170,000 by Heder and a call by Braco. After the {10-Hearts} turn both checked and Heder check-folded the {8-Hearts} river to a bet of 525,000.

Tomas Fara
Tomas Fara

Tomas Fara was in the big blind with around ten big blinds and he saw Pasquale Braco shoving from the small blind with a covering stack. Fara didn't tank for long before calling to put his tournament at risk.

Tomas Fara: {j-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Pasquale Braco: {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

The board ran out {k-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} with Braco getting many outs by the turn and spiking one of them on the river.

Chirstian Mohr Eliminated in 13th Place; Stefan Raschbauer Eliminated in 14th Place (€9,790)

Level 32 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Stefan Raschbauer
Stefan Raschbauer

Christoph Peper open-shipped all in for 2,100,000 in middle position and Christian Mohr stuck in his last 1,900,000 from the cutoff. Stefan Raschbauer also pushed all in for 1,100,000 on the button and all three hands were tabled.

Christoph Peper: {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Christian Mohr: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Stefan Raschbauer: {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}

It was a fun flop when the {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} hit the felt. The {6-Hearts} paired the board on the turn to give Peper a flush and only Raschbauer was still drawing live. The {9-Spades} completed the board and Peper eliminated both players to bring the field down to 12 players.
