Karim Frick: {6-Clubs}{5-Spades}

Heder Takes From Skhulukhiya

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Giorgiy Skhulukhiya opened the action with a raise from under the gun to 120,000 and Mick Heder called out of the big blind. Heder check-called two barrels on the {k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} flop and {3-Hearts} turn, the latter of which was for 350,000. Both then opted to check the {7-Diamonds} river and Heder tabled {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} for a pair of tens as the winning hand.

Two Quick Eliminations

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Two hands, two eliminations with Alois Sprachta and Prosper Mamane busting from the event. In the first hand, Fransesco Candelari opened from the cutoff to 130,000 and Alois Sprachta shoved from the button for 710,000. Candelari called quickly with {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades} with Sprachta showing {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} and hitting the rail after the {j-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{a-Clubs} board.

In the next hand, Giorgiy Skhulukhiya opened from early position and Prosper Mamane had just three big blinds behind him from the big blind. He put them in the middle with {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and Skhulukhiya called quickly with {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}, which was good after a {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{8-Spades} board that counterfeited Mamane's pocket pair.

Schumacher Spikes a Seven

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Idan Elberg was the first to act and he pushed all in for 700,000. Yannick Schumacher asked for a count on the button and then made the call.

Yannick Schumacher: {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
Idan Elberg: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}

Elberg started in the lead with his pocket queens but that evaporated in a hurry on the flop of {k-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Hearts}. Schumacher hit a set of sevens and held on through the {6-Spades} and {2-Diamonds} runout to eliminate Elberg.

Pellegrini Felted By Peper

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Agostino Pellegrini
Agostino Pellegrini

In a battle of the blinds, Agostino Pellegrini pushed for around 375,000 with the {2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and he was called by Christoph Peper with the {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}.

The {j-Clubs}{10-Spades}{7-Spades} flop spelled trouble as Peper picked up an additional straight draw and he immediately got there on the {q-Diamonds} turn to make the {6-Diamonds} river a formality.
