Thalmann Falls to Duran

Level 6 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Yves Thalmann limped in from the early position and so did Denis Drobina on the button. Ferhat Duran completed his small blind and Timur Margolin opted to check his big blind.

They all checked through the {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop to the {10-Diamonds} on the turn. Duran bet 5,000 and Thalmann was the only one to make the call.

The river completed the board with the {9-Spades}. Duran shoved with the bigger stack. Thalmann made the call for his last 17,000 after checking his cards once more. Duran tabled {j-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for the rivered straight while Thalmann held {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs} for top pair.

Level 6 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Sam Grafton raised in the cutoff to 2,500 and Richard Dalberg called from the big blind.

The flop appeared {a-Hearts}{7-Spades}{j-Diamonds} and Dalberg check-called Grafton's continuation bet for 2,000.

Both checked on the {4-Hearts} turn and {5-Diamonds} river and Dalberg quickly showed {4-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for two pair. Grafton tossed his hand into the muck.

Han Kuo opened to 2,200 and it folded to Rainer Heneka and Muhamet Perati who called from the blinds.

Soto Hurts Niste

Level 6 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Kirill Denisenko opened to 2,200 under the gun and Marc Foggin three-bet to 6,800 next to him, called by Jorge Soto. It folded to Mihai Niste who four-bet to 26,000 in the big blind and after some tanking, only Soto called.

The flop showed {9-Spades}{j-Spades}{8-Clubs} and Niste moved all in for a remaining stack around 100,000. Soto snap-called with a slightly higher to create the following showdown:

Mihai Niste: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Jorge Soto: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

Niste was in bad shape to double up and found no help throughout the {j-Hearts} turn and {4-Diamonds} river to be eliminated from the tournament.
