Foxen Pulls Out Front

Level 7 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Alex Foxen
Alex Foxen

Timothy Adams raised it up to 135,000 in the hijack and Alex Foxen re-raised to 415,000 in the cutoff. The action folded back to Adams who made the call. The flop came {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and Adams check-called a bet of 315,000 from Foxen.

The turn brought the {9-Spades} and both players checked to the {6-Clubs} on the river. Adams led out for a huge over-bet of 2,200,000 and Foxen burned through his last four time extensions before making the call. Adams showed {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} for just ace-high while Foxen had {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} for top pair.

Tang Loses Some to Vogelsang

Level 7 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Danny Tang and Christoph Vogelsang checked a {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop and Tang check-called a bet on the {q-Clubs} turn to see the {4-Clubs} river pair the board.

Tang called an overbet by Vogelsang for 1,050,000 and was shown the {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for a flush while revealing an inferior flush and dropping some chips.

Tony G
Tony G

Matthias Eibinger raised to 165,000 on Tony G's big blind again and Tony G replied with another three-bet to 565,000. Eibinger called and the flop of {k-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs} hit the felt.

Both players checked and the {j-Diamonds} landed on the turn. Tony G led out for 400,000 and Eibinger called. The river was the {2-Diamonds} and Tony G let his clock run down before betting 1,500,000. Eibinger quickly folded and Tony G quickly figured out that the correct move was to check the river instead.

Yong Cracks Nitsche's Kings

Level 8 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Dominik Nitsche
Dominik Nitsche

Dominik Nitsche raised it up to 200,000 in the hijack and was called by Richard Yong on the button and Christoph Vogelsang in the small blind. The flop fell {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and the action checked to Yong who bet 300,000. Vogelsang called and Nitsche jammed all in for 1,450,000. Yong called and Vogelsang got out of the way.

Richard Yong: {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Dominik Nitsche: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}

Nitsche was currently out front with his pair of kings but the {4-Diamonds} on the turn quickly spelled disaster. Nitsche was drawing dead to the {7-Hearts} on the river and Yong collected his chips.

Kempe Loses a Bunch to Kisacikoglu

Level 8 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Orpen Kisacikoglu
Orpen Kisacikoglu

Rainer Kempe opened to 170,000 with the {j-Clubs}{4-Clubs} on the button and Orpen Kisacikoglu defended the big blind with {k-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. The flop came {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{5-Spades} and Kisacikoglu check-called a bet of 120,000.

Kisacikoglu picked up a flushdraw on the {9-Hearts} turn and bet 400,000, which Kempe called. After the {6-Hearts} river, Kisacikoglu made his flush and bet 4,000,000 to give Kempe the option to call all-in or fold with fewer than half the starting stack behind. He used a time-bank extension and indeed folded trips jacks.

Kahle Burns
Kahle Burns

Kahle Burns opened and then four-bet all in against Tony G, who made the call for 1,760,000 in total.

Kahle Burns: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}
Tony G: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}

The {q-Spades}{10-Spades}{8-Spades} flop gave Tony G some hope with a gutshot and while the {q-Hearts} turn came a blank, the {j-Hearts} river dealt the blow to Burns.

"Unreal, I just can't catch a break," the Aussie gasped while Tony G engaged in table chat with Cary Katz.

"I can't do much with that, have already too much in it," he said and Katz replied "that's the only hand you have to worry about."

Anatoly Filatov
Anatoly Filatov

Anatoly Filatov raised to 160,000 first to act and Christoph Vogelsang three-bet to 525,000. Filatov four-bet to 1,150,000 and Vogelsang tossed in calling chips.

The {9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop brought a bet worth 800,000 by Filatov and Vogelsang made the call to see the {2-Diamonds} on the turn. A second barrel of Filatov was worth 1,300,000 and that forced a fold from Vogelsang.

Phua tossed in calling chips after short consideration and the {j-Diamonds} fell on the turn. Phua now checked and Vogelsang shoved for 2,780,000 to force a fold.
