Mateos Loses Flip to Chen

The {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop improved Chen to trips aces and he locked up the elimination of Mateos with the {k-Hearts} turn, the {3-Diamonds} river was a mere formality. For Mateos, it was already the second bullet of the day and he can re-enter until the start of level 11.

Tang Bleeding Chips

Danny Tang opened to 225,000 on the button and Chin Wei Lim defended from the big blind. The flop came {10-Spades}{7-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and Lim checked to Tang who continued for 225,000. Lim called and the {k-Clubs} landed on the turn.

Lim checked again and Tang checked it back this time. The river was the {q-Spades} and Lim led out for 550,000. Tang thought for a moment but decided to send his cards to the muck.

Adams Gets Short; Tony G Even Shorter

In a three-bet pot for 800,000 each, Dominik Nitsche and Timothy Adams headed to the {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop and a bet of 500,000 by Nitsche won the pot to send Adams down to around 25 big blinds.

At the same time, a battle of the blinds between Orpen Kisacikoglu and Tony G one table over saw a completed board of {a-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Spades}{9-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and Kisacikoglu check-raised to 3,000,000. Tony G snap-called and banged his hands on the table in frustration when Kisacikoglu rolled over {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for the nutflush.

Adams Working a Short Stack

Timothy Adams opened to 200,000 from under the gun and was called by Dominik Nitsche and Kahle Burns in the blinds. The flop fell {q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and the action checked around to the {6-Diamonds} on the turn.

Nitsche checked again and Burns tossed in a bet of 230,000. Adams called and Nitsche got out of the way. The river was the {8-Diamonds} and Burns checked this time. Adams quickly checked it back and Burns showed {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for a rivered pair. Adams revealed {k-Clubs}{10-Spades} for a pair of tens and earned the pot.
