Tang Doubles Through Frank

Danny Tang limped from the hijack along with Anatoly Filatov in the small blind. Christopher Frank raised to 175,000 from the big blind. Tang hit the tank for a few seconds then moved all in for 586,000. Filatov snap-folded but Frank made the call.

Loeser Takes From Pidun

Level 10 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Manig Loeser opened to 40,000 under the gun and action folded to Cary Katz who called from the small blind along with Daniel Pidun in the big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of {q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{7-Hearts} that was checked around to the {9-Diamonds} turn. Katz and Pidun checked and Loeser fired 75,000. Katz folded but Pidun check-called. The river was the {9-Spades} and Pidun checked once more. Loeser threw in a bet of 280,000. Pidun took a few seconds of reflection, then called. Loeser tabled {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for a straight to win the pot and Pidun showed {j-Hearts}{9-Clubs} for trip nines before sending his hand to the muck.

Monster Pot for Adams Eliminates Kurt

The action folded to Rainer Kempe on the button who made it 50,000 to go. Yusuf Kurt three-bet to 135,000 in the small blind and Timothy Adams four-bet to 275,000 in the big blind. Kempe was forced to fold but Kurt still called.

The flop came {10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} which stirred on even more action. Kurt started with a check and Adams continued for 200,000. Kurt check-raised to 425,000 and Adams shoved all in. Kurt called off his stack of 1,280,000 and the cards were on their backs.

Kurt flopped top pair and a straight draw against the set of eights from Adams. The {q-Spades} on the turn was a brick and the {7-Hearts} on the river improved Adams to a full house. Kurt was eliminated and Adams moved near the top of the chip counts.

Danny Tang raised from the button and Davidi Kitai three-bet jammed for 417,000 from the big blind. Tang snap-called and the players turned over their cards.

Grafton Exits Again

Anson Tsang raised it up in early position and Sam Grafton three-bet to 300,000 on the button. The action was back on Tsang who four-bet shoved all in and Grafton called off his stack of around 800,000.

Tsang had the superior pocket pair and the flop of {k-Hearts}{10-Spades}{6-Hearts} changed nothing. The {7-Hearts} on the turn and the {j-Spades} on the river also bricked off for Grafton who was eliminated again.

Frank Gets a Fold

Action folded to Christopher Frank who opened to 50,000 from the button. Hossein Ensan three-bet to 136,000 from the small blind and Frank stuck around with a call.

A flop of {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}{7-Spades} was dealt and checked around to the {2-Spades} turn. Ensan bet 40,000 and Frank called. The {q-Spades} filled up the board and Ensan checked. Frank fired a bet of 350,000 and Ensan let it go.

Christopher Frank raised it up from the cutoff and Hossein Ensan flat-called on the button. Jean-Noel Thorel three-bet to 125,000 in the small blind and Frank jammed all in for 424,000. Ensan re-shoved all in and Thorel laid his hand down.
