Wu's Bluff Doesn't Get Through Pidun

Level 4 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

There was about 100,000 in the middle and the flop was reading {6-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts} when Yake Wu bet 33,000 from the small blind. Daniel Pidun raised to 105,000 from the button and Wu added the remainder to call.

The turn brought the {10-Diamonds} and was checked through to the {2-Clubs} river. Wu fired 500,000 and Pidun, with 395,000 behind, thought for a long while, using two of his time bank cards, then called. Wu tabled {k-Spades}{q-Hearts} for a bluff and Pidun turned over {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts} to rake in the pot.

Grafton and Foxen Eliminated Early

Level 3 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Sam Grafton
Sam Grafton

At one table, a completed board of {10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{q-Spades} was spread across the felt with just Sam Grafton and Joao Vieira heads-up in the blinds. Grafton checked to Vieira who bet 110,000 and Grafton check-raised all in for 542,000. Vieira burned through four time extensions before finally making the call. Grafton showed {k-Spades}{10-Clubs} while Vieira had {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} to eliminate Grafton.

Next door, Alex Foxen was down to just 17,000 after losing a huge pot to Timothy Adams. Foxen shipped all in from under the gun and Kahle Burns re-raised to 30,000. Daniel Pidun just called and Matthias Eibinger four-bet to 100,000 in the big blind. Burns called and Pidun ripped all in for 394,000. Both Eibinger and Burns sent their cards to the muck.

Foxen showed {j-Spades}{10-Spades} but was dominated by the {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} of Pidun. The flop of {q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} was fun for all as Foxen hit a pair of tens but Pidun had a better straight draw and a flush draw. The {7-Hearts} on the turn changed nothing but the {7-Diamonds} on the river gave Pidun the flush to eliminate Foxen.
