Level 17 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Roberto Morra
Roberto Morra

Roberto Morra is one of the first players to eliminate after the dinner break. In his last hand he put his chips in the middle with {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}, only to see Pierre Mothes call him with {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}.

The board ran out {5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and the overpair improved to a set to send Morra to the rail for a €15,089 payday.

Salloum Doubles Through Kolonias; Busts Sklenicka After

Level 17 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Michael Sklenicka
Michael Sklenicka

Alexandros Kolonias raised to 27,000 first to act and Charbel Salloum three-bet to 87,000 from two seats over, Kolonias called and they headed to the {j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop. Kolonias had barely checked when Salloum already pushed for 350,000. That sent the Greek into the think tank and the clock was called on him, with a few seconds left Kolonias made the call.

Charbel Salloum: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Alexandros Kolonias: {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The {9-Spades} turn and {9-Hearts} river were blanks and Salloum doubled with a sweat.

Soon after, Michael Sklenicka moved all in from the small blind and Salloum made the call in the big blind.

Michael Sklenicka: {a-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}
Charbel Salloum: {a-Spades}{4-Spades}

"Chop?" Sklenicka jokingly asked and saw the board run out {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{q-Spades}{j-Spades} as Salloum got there with running spades.

Schoepf Doubles Through Mulders

Level 17 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Karl-Theodor Schoepf was all in with {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} against Daan Mulders who was holding {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}.

The first three cards came {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{4-Hearts} but both players had a heart in the hand and Schoepf managed to double up after the {10-Diamonds} on the turn and the {a-Spades} on the river to improve to a full house.

Rajkovic Eliminates Menhardt

Level 17 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Julian Menhardt
Julian Menhardt

Julian Menhardt came back from dinner break as one of the short stacks and pushed all in for just under 100,000 in early position. A couple of seats over, Adi Rajkovic made the call and the rest of the table folded.

Adi Rajkovic: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Julian Menhardt: {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

The flop of {10-Clubs}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs} left Rajkovic in a healthy lead with very little to sweat. The {10-Spades} on the turn and the {7-Hearts} on the river secured the pot for Rajkovic and Menhardt was eliminated.

Lipauka Gets a Fold

Level 17 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Adi Rajkovic raised to 25,000 under the gun and Vadzim Lipauka three-bet to 80,000 from one seat over. Action folded back to Rajkovic who added the remainder to call.

The dealer fanned a flop of {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and Rajkovic checked. Lipauka threw in a bet of 45,000, that was enough to win the pot.

Level 17 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Philipp Zukernik
Philipp Zukernik

Artur Jarek three-bet all in for 175,000 and Roberto Morra made the call with the {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} to find himself up against the {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} of Jarek.

On a board of {8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}, Jarek hit the nut flush and doubled.

Shortly after, Philipp Zukernik pushed for 53,000 and Tobias Peters called from the big blind.

Philipp Zukernik: {k-Spades}{7-Clubs}
Tobias Peters: {k-Diamonds}{9-Spades}

Zukernik spiked a seven on the {7-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop but the {9-Hearts} turn restored the preflop order, the {4-Clubs} river was a blank.

One Pair is Good for Vaitiekunas

Level 17 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Picking up the action on the turn with the board reading {9-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs}{10-Spades}, Paulius Vaitiekunas checked from early position and Mustafa Biz tossed in a bet of 125,000 on the button. Vaitiekunas called to create a pot of around 500,000.

The {3-Spades} on the river put four spades on the board and Vaitiekunas checked again. Biz thought for a minute before checking it back. Vaitiekunas quickly turned over {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for a pair of tens and Biz conceded the pot.

Dinner Break

Level 16 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Due to the length of the money bubble and the hand-for-hand process, the dinner break was moved to the end of level 17. The players are now heading on a 60-minute break and will play three more levels when they return.
