Dudley Doubles, Madsen Eliminated

Level 17 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Jeff Madsen
Jeff Madsen

Anh Do raised it up to 25,000 and was faced with an all-in shove from Dash Dudley for 74,000. Do quickly called and the two players were flipping. Do tabled {q-Spades}{q-Hearts} and Dudley held {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}.

The board ran out {a-Spades}{6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and Dudley scored a double up in order to stay alive.

A couple of tables over, Jeff Madsen found himself all in for around 380,000 but ran into a red-hot Julien Martini. Madsen tabled {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs} but was up against the {k-Spades}{k-Hearts} of Martini.

The {7-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{9-Hearts} runout provided no help for Madsen and he shipped his chips across the table to the chipleader.

Sammartino Raises River

Level 17 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Dario Sammartino was on the button, in a hand against Robert Skopalik in the small blind. The flop was {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and Skopalik bet 120,000, getting a call from Sammartino.

The {j-Diamonds} paired the board on the turn and this time Skopalik bet 200,000, with Sammartino calling again.

The {2-Hearts} was seemingly a blank for this board and Skopalik bet 105,000. Sammartino thought about it for a couple of seconds and then pushed a big tower of blue chips in the middle, equal to a 500,000 bet. Skopalik thought about it for a couple of minutes, until Martin Kabrhel asked for time and he released his hand when the floor manager arrived at the table.

Level 17 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Harry Ross raised it up to 27,000 in the cutoff and was called by Jakob Madsen on the button. The flop came {k-Spades}{9-Hearts}{3-Spades} and Ross check-called a bet of 27,000 from Madsen.

The turn brought the {2-Spades} and Ross checked again. Madsen fired out another bet of 55,000 and Ross stuck around to see the {5-Spades} on the river. Ross checked once more and Madsen knuckled the table as well. Ross flipped over {k-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} for top pair but Madsen ran out a flush with {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}.

Durnegger Doubles Through Achegsei; Busts to Delfoco

Level 17 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Markus Durnegger
Markus Durnegger

Markus Dürnegger was all in for 206,000 out of the blinds with the {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and trailed Ahmad Achegsei by a nub, as his table neighbor turned over {a-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}.

The kicker would play a pivotal role as the board came {k-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts} to let Durnegger double.

However, the fortune of the Austrian ran out shortly after when he had a flip against Francesco Delfoco for a pot of 900,000.

Markus Durnegger: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
Francesco Delfoco: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

The board came {j-Spades}{10-Clubs}{6-Spades}{6-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and Dürnegger missed out on the two overcards and flushdraw.
