Aviv Over Seven Million

Level 32 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

A full board of {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{j-Spades} was out between Levent Efe and Gal Aviv.

Both players had contributed 370,000 on the flop and 700,000 on the turn, and Efe had checked the river to Aviv who bet 1,200,000.

Efe tanked, and eventually the clock was called. However, he folded before the time ran out and Aviv took down the pot.

Schlegel Doubles Up Through Gicovanu

Level 32 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Marius Gicovanu opened from the early position for 320,000 and Andy Schlegel shoved from the small blind for 3,200,000.

Gicovanu snap-called him turning over quickly his {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades} only to see his opponent's {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}.

The flop came {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades} for Schlegel to hit a set but it also gave some hope to Gicovanu, who now needed a jack for a straight.

However, the turn was the {a-Clubs} and the river the {k-Clubs}, ensuring Schlegel's double-up.

Derler Doubles to Stay Alive

Level 32 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Rupert Derler
Rupert Derler

Rupert Derler and Volodymyr Legkyi had previously gotten it all in with the same hand — {4-Clubs}{5-Clubs} against {4-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} with Derler all-in blind, only to chop.

On the next hand, Derler shoved the button with {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} and Legkyi flicked in a chip to call in the big blind with {k-Spades}{7-Hearts}

There was a king on the {k-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop, but Derler took the lead with the {a-Spades} turn and secured a double on the {2-Hearts} river.
