Armino Picks Off Jack-High Bluff

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante

Action folded to Fabian Baldelli on the button who raised to 1,500. Leonardo Armino called from the small blind and both players saw the flop {5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{8-Spades}.

Armino checked-called a bet of 1,400 from Baldelli. The board paired on the turn with the {4-Clubs} but that didn't stop Baldelli from firing another bet of 7,100 after it was checked to him.

Armino took some time before calling and both players saw the {8-Hearts} on the river. He once again checked to his opponent. Baldelli paused for a minute and then sent his whole stack to the middle. Armino called relatively quickly and the cards were turned over.

Baldelli had jack-high with {j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} while Armino called him with {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} which was enough to win him the pot.

Dietzinger Closes in on Six Figures

Level 5 : 300/500, 500 ante

A full board of {8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{10-Spades} was spread between Uwe Dietzinger and Vasileios Tsaknis. With 25,000 in themiddle, Dietzinger had bet 21,500 and Tsaknis was contemplating a call.

He counted out the chips to call and reassessed the chips he would be left with if he called and was wrong. Eventually he called, but tapped the table when Dietzinger showed {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} for a straight.
