Spoddig Doubles Through Konopka

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

The cards were already turned over as Carlos Spoddig was at risk for 61,000 with the {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs}. Karol Konopka flipped over {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and that made two pair on the {q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop. However, the {3-Spades} turn restored the preflop order and the {j-Clubs} river brought no further change.

Tamir Segal got his stack of 32,500 in preflop and was looked up by Nicola Angelini.

Florian Sarnow
Florian Sarnow

Three ways to the {8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{k-Clubs} turn, Tobias Peters faced the bet of 20,000 by Florian Sarnow and the call of Nikolaos Lampropoulos. Peters on the button raised the pot and Sarnow then called all-in for 95,000, while Lampropoulos reluctantly folded.

Florian Sarnow: {10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades}
Tobias Peters: {k-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{6-Clubs}

Sarnow's wrap and flush draw had plenty of outs albeit the club draw was no good. He bricked the {q-Spades} river and Peters soared to the top of the leaderboard.

Panasiuk Among the Big Stacks; Karatas Short

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Serhii Panasiuk doubled through Sarharib Karatas to join the big stacks and the latter then jammed a three-way flop of {j-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{3-Clubs} for just 4,900. Only Yordanov Karagogov called on the button to create the following showdown.

Sarharib Karatas: {j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{6-Spades}{2-Clubs}
Yordanov Karagogov: {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{4-Hearts}

The {k-Diamonds} turn and {4-Clubs} river kept Karatas in the lead as he doubled back to slightly more than the starting stack.

Kabrhel Doubles Through Logothetis

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Martin Kabrhel raised the pot to 13,000 on the button and was called only by Alexis Logothetis in a late position. The {10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop brought the chips of Kabrhel in and he was looked up.

Martin Kabrhel: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}{q-Spades}{8-Clubs}
Alexis Logothetis: {q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

The {7-Spades} turn improved Logothetis but the {4-Clubs} river counterfeited his two pair for Kabrhel to double for the 36,300 he had behind.
