Schoepf Gets the Kabrhel Treatment

Level 22 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

A completed board of {10-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{6-Hearts} was spread across the felt with Karl-Theodor Schoepf and Martin Kabrhel heads-up. There was already over 200,000 chips in the middle and Schoepf checked to Kabrhel who dropped in a stack of 25,000 chips.

Schoepf had around 120,000 chips remaining and went into the tank for over a minute before making the call. Kabrhel turned over {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} for a full house and Schoepf called him down with just {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}.

After the hand, Kabrhel gave his classic line "Cooler, it was a cooler. Full house vs one pair."

Maliqi Sends Hambrock Out

Level 22 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Thomas Hambrock moved all in for 150,000 in middle position and was called by Bleron Maliqi on his left. A couple of other players gave it some thought but all elected to fold.

Thomas Hambrock: {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}
Bleron Maliqi: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

The flop of {10-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} didn't provide much help for Hambrock who was looking for a seven to keep him alive. The {10-Clubs} on the turn and the {3-Hearts} on the river meant the end to Hambrock's tournament.

Huss Gives Himself an Applause

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Alexander Huss and Henning Wendlandt had all of their chips in the middle and were heads-up going to the flop. Huss was the player at risk for 285,000 and was in a coin flip.

Alexander Huss: {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}
Henning Wendlandt: {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}

The flop came {6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts} which left Wendlandt in the lead with his pair of sevens but Huss picked up a flush draw. The {3-Hearts} landed on the turn and the {a-Spades} hit the river to give Huss a pair of aces.

"Yes!" Huss shouted as he clapped his hands.

"You're giving yourself a round of applause?" Wendlandt joked. "You're still below average so keep fighting."
