Veselin Karakitukov then moved in on the button for just a little more. Verbakel, the short stack, put in the remainder of his chips and D'Avanzo called to put both player at risk of elimination.

Karakitukov Jams the River

Vasil Medarov raised to 200,000 from under the gun and Maximilian Klostermeier three-bet to 625,000, which forced a fold from Medarov. One hand later, Medarov was in the big blind and forfeited more chips when Joni Jouhkimainen got claimed the blinds and big blind ante with a raise from under the gun.

Fast forward two hands, Ermanno Di Nicola opened to 230,000 and Veselin Karakitukov called with 720,000 behind in the big blind. The flop resulted in a check-call for 150,000 and the turn was checked. Karakitukov then jammed the river and Di Nicola quickly folded.
