No Day 3 for Ozlu

Level 14 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Tayfun Ozlu
Tayfun Ozlu

Tayfun Ozlu jammed for 104,000 on the button with the {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and was looked up by Narcis Nedelcu out of the big blind, who turned over the {a-Hearts}{9-Spades}.

The {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop was a sweat with the open-ender but the {7-Diamonds} turn and {4-Spades} river kept ace-high in the lead for Ozlu to bust.

Level 14 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Petakovic Eliminated by Gulas Jr

Level 14 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

The next shorter stack to get the chips in with just over half an hour to go on Day 3 was Milos Petakovic, who found a suited ace to go with. However, he was dominated by Josef Gulas Jr in the following showdown.

Milos Petakovic: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Josef Gulas Jr: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

The {j-Spades}{2-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop provided some further equity but the {7-Clubs} turn and {8-Spades} river runout brought no help to the Serbian.

No Dough For Foe

Level 14 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

With 160,000 in the pot on the {k-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{k-Hearts}{3-Clubs} completed board, Alik Zazian moved all-in for 140,000 which was more than Clyde Tjauw Foe had behind.

After a few moments, Foe called it off and was shown the bad news when his opponent had a full house with his {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}. Foe turned over his pocket jacks before the dealer began the next hand.

Triple Up for Cohen

Level 14 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Yehuda Cohen was all-in from the under-the-gun position and found two callers in Lois Dufouleur and Mihaita Georgita, the latter of which was in the big blind.

The two active players checked down the {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} board and Dufouleur tabled the {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}. Georgita had the {q-Spades}{q-Clubs} and Cohen tripled up with {a-Spades}{j-Hearts} for aces and jacks.

"Now I am guaranteed to reach the final table," Cohen said even though he climbed to fewer than half of the average stack.
