McAdam Hits Miracle River

With the board showing {a-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{8-Clubs}{j-Hearts} Robert McAdam was all-in and at risk against Julian Margner. All the chips got in on the turn and McAdam, with {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts} was behind his opponent's {j-Spades}{9-Hearts}.

McAdam hit the {4-Clubs} river to make two-pair which visibly upset Margner as he was just left with around four big blinds.

Shortly after, Margner's Main Event journey was over and he left the tournament area.

Kaesler and Karoui Chip Up

Ole Schemion bet the {a-Spades}{6-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} turn for 60,000 and David Kaesler called. The {9-Hearts} river was checked by both and Schemion tabled the {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}, which Kaesler had beat with the {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}.

One hand later, Julian Märgner opened to 9,000 and Schemion three-bet to 24,000. Moncef Karoui four-bet to 99,000 in the small blind and earned two folds. Karoui flashed the {5-Clubs} with a big grin and added "random but not stupid".

De Neve Doubles Through Wysocki

Heads-up to the {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} turn, Szymon Wysocki opted for a check-shove and Vincent De Neve called all-in after he had bet 30,000.

Clarke Folds to Rezaei Jam

With over 200,000 in the pot on the {k-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{a-Hearts} board, Daniel Rezaei jammed from the small blind, covering the at risk Patrick Clarke.

The clock was called on Clarke and he ultimately folded.

The pair chatted briefly after the hand and Rezaei revealed he had turned a set of deuces. Rezaei then asked if he his opponent had "king-queen with spade?."

Clarke nodded in agreement and Rezaei gave a little fist pump for his correct analysis.

Monari Doubles Through Bradley

Emanuel Monari opened to 8,000 before Tomasz Gluszko three-bet to 28,000 in the small blind. Ian Bradley re-raised in the big blind before Monari moved all-in for 122,500. Gluszko got out of the way and Bradley made the call.

Theobald Comes Out On Top

Bobby Simons opened the action in late position with a bet of 9,000. Robert McAdam three-bet to 26,000 in the small blind and was called by Pablo Theobald in the big blind, Simons came along as well.

McAdam continued for 23,000 on the {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop and both of his opponents called. On the {5-Diamonds} turn McAdam checked, Theobald bet 40,000 which folded out Simons and then McAdam.
