Denie Recovers Earlier Losses

Level 24 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Guillaume Diaz and Thomas Denie had lost chips while Ilija Savevski chipped up.

Stanislav Koleno then raised to 125,000 and Dimitar Yosifov valled in the cutoff, as did Denie in the big blind. The {9-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop was checked to Koleno and he continued for 160,000. Yosifov called and Denie then check-raised to 450,000, which just Yosifov called.

Both checked the {k-Diamonds} turn and Denie bet the {6-Diamonds} river for 725,000 in order to force a fold from Yosifov.

Guilbert Forces Fold From Nedelcu

The action started with a raise to 120,000 by Johan Guilbert from under the gun and Narcis Nedelcu three-bet to 375,000 on the button. Guilbert tanked for a while and then called. On the {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} flop, Guilbert utilised his min-bet strategy and Nedelcu reluctantly called.

The {q-Hearts} turn brought a bet worth 600,000 by Guilbert which resulted in a call from Nedelcu, and the duo headed to the {6-Spades} river. Guilbert now bet 2,400,000 and Nedelcu had just 1,265,000 behind. After around two minutes, the Romanian shook his head and sent the cards into the muck.

Savevski Doubles Through Karakaya

Tolga Karakaya raised to 190,000 from the small blind and Ilija Savevski shoved all-in for around 1,700,000.

Karakaya contemplated his options but he finally made the call.

The board opened with a six {a-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} but the {5-Hearts} turn gave some gutshot-straight outs and with a miracle {4-Diamonds} on the river Savevski stayed alive and doubled up.

Guilbert Tangles With Conan

Arthur Conan raised to 125,000 and was called by Johan Guilbert and Athanasios Kidas, which led to the {10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop. Guilbert min-bet and Kidas called. Conan then raised to 275,000 and Guilbert re-raised to 695,000. Kidas quickly folded while Conan tanked for four minutes and surrendered.

Soon after, Conan defended the big blind against Guilbert and bet the {k-Spades}{j-Spades}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{9-Spades} river for 300,000. Without much hesitation this time, Guilbert called and was shown an ace, which he had beat with the {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}.

Denie On the Rise

Thomas Denie bet 600,000 on a 2,000,000 pot on the river with the board showing {7-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{8-Hearts}.

His opponent Tolga Karakaya folded and Denie turned over {10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} for a straight and said ''Bad River''.
