Kim and Benitez Join the Fray

Adrian Mateos opened to 5,000 and folded when Ben Heath three-bet to 27,000.

Mateos opened to another 5,000 thereafter and Chris Brewer came along in the big blind. The K♠7♦3♥ flop was checked by the latter, Mateos bet 4,000 and Brewer called. On the 7♣ turn, Brewer led for 6,000 and Mateos folded.

Gab Yong Kim, one of two new entrants, then made it 4,000 to go first to act. Tamas Adamszki three-bet to 20,000 on the button and Kim called. They checked the 8♠7♦5♥ flop and Kim's bet of 25,000 on the 4♥ turn forced out Adamszki.

Mateos Makes a Six-Figure Bet

Tamas Adamszki raised to 5,000 from under the gun and got calls from Quan Zhou on the button, Adrian Mateos in the small blind, and Ben Heath in the big blind.

The action then checked to Adamszki on the 2♠A♠9♠ flop and he made a bet of 8,000. Mateos was the only caller and the pair saw a turn of 7♦ appear, on which Mateos check-called a 28,000 bet from Adamszki.

The K♥ river rolled off and Mateos checked once more, leading Adamszki to make a sizable bet of 60,000 chips. However, Mateos did not deem that enough and raised to 230,000.

Adamszki spent one time bank extension but eventually let his hand go, chipping up Mateos significantly.

Showdown Pot for Dvoress Against Adams

Daniel Dvoress limped the small blind and called a raise to 10,000 by Timothy Adams in the big blind.

The K♣6♠2♦ flop brought 6,000 chips in by both and they checked the 5♦ on the turn. Dvoress bet the 3♦ river and Adams called but mucked when he was shown the 8♦8♠ for a pair of eights.

Adamszki Takes From Zhou

Tamas Adamszki had previously three-bet successfully and then opened to 5,000 on the button, Quan Zhou called out of the big blind. On a K♦3♥3♣ flop, Zhou checked and Adamszki bet 4,000. A small check-raise to 11,000 by Zhou followed and Adamszki called.

Both checked the 10♠ on the turn and Zhou also checked the 2♥ on the river. Adamszki bet 27,000 and earned the pot uncontested.

Barbero Straightens Out Chidwick

The board of Q♥9♥K♠J♣ was dealt up until the turn when the action was caught. With 12,000 chips in the middle, Nacho Barbero made a bet of 5,000 from the small blind and Stephen Chidwick called from the big blind.

On the 2♥ river, he increased his sizing to 25,000 and Chidwick called once more. Barbero showed J♠10♥ for the flopped nuts and took down the pot.

Dvoress Rivers Kisacikoglu in Biggest Pot So Far

Orpen Kisacikoglu opened the action with a raise to 5,000 from under the gun, still four-handed. Daniel Dvoress was in the big blind and defended once the action had folded to him.

Dvoress then check-called a 4,000 continuation-bet on the flop of A♥9♥10♠ before the 4♣ was dealt out on the turn. Dvoress checked again and Kisacikoglu opted for an over-bet of 30,000 chips. Dvoress spent a time bank extension before making the call and the subsequent K♦ river completed the board.

Dvoress checked for the third time in a row, and now it was Kisacikoglu's turn to go into the tank. After a while, he came out with another large bet of 81,000, which Dvoress quickly called.

Kisacikoglu turned over A♣9♦ for flopped two pair, but Dvoress had rivered the better two pair with his A♠K♣ and raked in the pot.

Adrian Mateos and Francisco Benitez have been spotted near the tournament area with just the former entering on 500 big blinds. The field is up to ten entries but Tamas Adamszki and Mateos both drew the same table, which will require some balancing shortly.

Dvoress Loses Two in a Row

Stephen Chidwick raised to 6,000 for Daniel Dvoress to call and the latter check-called the A♥9♦4♣ flop for 4,000. Both checked the 7♦ turn which led to the 8♦ river. Dvoress bet 16,000 and Chidwick called to win the pot with the 10♣7♥, as Dvoress only had K♣Q♦ for king-high.

Soon after that, Dvoress tangled with Orpen Kisacikoglu in a three-bet pot. There was no action on the 10♦7♣4♦ flop and 2♣ turn. Kisacikoglu bet the 4♥ river for 16,000 and Dvoress folded.

The action then checked to Barbero on the J♥4♠2♠ flop, and he made a continuation-bet of 9,000 chips. Both of his opponents folded and he chipped back up a bit.

Meanwhile, Tamas Adamszki has also registered for the tournament.
