Barbero Loses a Bunch to Kisacikoglu

Orpen Kisacikoglu aas the single big blind defended against an open raise to 5,000 by Nacho Barbero called. The 1032 flop saw Kisacikoglu check-call for 5,000 and then check the A turn. Barbero bet 10,000 to then face a check-raise to 40,000, which he called after a few seconds of consideration.

Kisacikoglu bet the 9 river for 25,000 and Barbero paid it off, but mucked when he was shown the AK for top pair and top kicker.

Heath Pumps It Up

Ben Heath made a raise to 5,000 from middle position and Nacho Barbero called from the next seat over. Timothy Adams was in the cutoff and made a three-bet to 25,000 before the action folded back to Heath.

Heath increased the prize to 105,000, forcing Barbero out of the pot. Adams spent one of his precious time bank extension before also laying his hand down, and Heath raked in the pot without an additional card being dealt.

Kisacikoglu Wins One; Loses One

Level 1 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Orpen Kisacikoglu raised to 6,000 and Timothy Adams defended the big blind. The KK4 flop was checked by the latter and Kisacikoglu's bet of 4,000 won the pot.

One hand later, Kisacikoglu made it 5,000 to go and Stephen Chidwick came along from the big blind. The 963 flop produced a check from Chidwick, Kisacikoglu bet 4,000 and earned a call.

No betting action followed on the 2 turn and the J river completed the board. Chidwick now bet 5,000 and Kisacikoglu folded.

Timothy Adams raised to 5,000 from the hijack before Orpen Kisacikoglu made it 30,000 to go from the big blind. Adams made the call, and called Kisacikoglu's 15,000 continuation-bet on the 2A3 flop as well.

The 4 turn was then checked by both players before the 6 river brought the fourth club on the board. Kisacikoglu let his shot clock run out before checking, and Adams fired a bet of 65,000 in response.

Kisacikoglu quickly called and Adams passed his cards face-down to the dealer, relinquishing the pot to the defending champion and getting some laughter from the other players at the table.

Kisacikoglu Wins Small Pot

Orpen Kisacikoglu raised it up to 5,000 first to act and earned two callers in Stephen Chidwick on the button as well as Chris Brewer in the big blind.

They checked all the way to the 1083K3 river and it was checked to Kisacikoglu. The defending champion bet 9,000 and won the pot without resistance.

Dvoress Draws First Blood

The first hand of the tournament saw the action fold to Stephen Chidwick in the small blind, who limped in. Daniel Dvoress sat in the big blind and checked.

On the 68J flop, Chidwick checked and Dvoress made a bet of 3,000 chips. Chdiwick quickly mucked his cards and granted the first pot the way of his opponent.
