Tuna Catches Pre-Bubble Double
Level 16
: Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Bruno Desimoni raised to 20,000 from the button and Akin Tuna made it 65,000 to go from the small blind. Desimoni then jammed all in, covering the 260,000 total chips of Tuna.
Akin Tuna: A♣Q♦
Bruno Desimoni: 9♠9♦
Tuna shared some fistbumps with his neighbor Gab Yong Kim as the Q♠10♠5♦ flop was revealed, giving him top pair. Tuna would remain safe on the 2♦5♣ runout and he hooked a nice double-up just a few places before the money.
