New Bracelet Winners Abound at Table #104

Level 2 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Ermanno Di Nicola and Tobias Garp were two of the newest WSOP bracelet winners crowned this week, Di Nicola winning the Colossus and Garp the Mystery Bounty. They're sharing a table today but were mostly spectators on the last hand.

Four planers, including Garp, small blind Ondrej Kail, and big blind Denis Alimanovic, checked the flop of 786 before Kail led out for 2,500 on the 3 turn.

Only Alimanovic called and the K fell on the river. Kail bet another 2,500 and Alimanovic again called. Kail then showed 85 for a pair of eights and Aliimanovic mucked.

Thoni Flops the Goods

Level 2 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

On a 610K6 flop with many thousand already in the middle, Johannes Thoni check-called a 15,000 bet from middle position against Giuseppe Mazza-Boussemart, who was on the button.

Both players checked on the 2 river and Thoni tabled A3 for the nut flush. Mazza-Boussemart flung his hand into the muck and Thoni was sent the large pot.

Aslan Doubles Up With a Set

Mahsum Aslan just doubled up and was more than happy to share a video he took of the hand.

According to Aslan and other players at the table, he was on the button and called a three-bet of 3,300. The original raiser then four-bet to 13,000 and received two callers.

The flop came 3K2 and Aslan raised to 26,800 after his opponent bet 10,000. The turn was the 10 and they got the rest of Aslan's 56,000 in the middle.

Aslan had 33 for a set, while his opponent had AK for top pair. The river was the 7 and Aslan secured a massive double up.

Ace Slows Down Loeser

Level 2 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Robert Saffran raised to 1,000 under the gun before Manig Loeser three-bet to 3,500 in early position.

Saffran called and the flop came 568. Loeser then continued for 2,000 and Saffran called.

Both players checked the A turn and Saffran also checked the 3 turn. Loeser quickly followed suit.

"Ten-high," Saffran said, turning over 109. Loeser showed KK as he took the pot.

Rutter Gets Three Streets From Truong

Heads-up on a flop of 8K8, Stuart Rutter led out for 3,000 in the small blind and Sammy Truong called on the button.

The turn came the 4 and Rutter bet another 5,000. Truong again called and the 5 fell on the river.

Rutter then bet 6,500 and Truong called, only for Rutter to show him 86 for flopped trips to win the pot.

Grenz Gets a Fold

Level 2 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Aleksej Grenz opened to 1,000 from middle position and was called by Michael Strauch in the small blind. Danilo Velasevic then squeezed to 6,000 from the big blind. Grenz called and Strauch folded.

Grenz called a 2,600 bet from Velasevic on the AK5 flop and then bet 6,300 after being checked to on the K turn. Velsasevic folded and Grenz collected the pot without showing.

Chen Raises the River on Paduano

Level 2 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

James Chen and Arturo Paduano went to the river in a blind versus blind confrontation with the board showing 10QQ75.

Paduano then led out for 4,000 and Chen came back with a raise to 15,500, sending Paduano deep into the tank for several minutes. The clock was eventually called, but Paduano didn't even wait for the floor to arrive before mucking.

Takacs Wins With Ladies

Level 1 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

Stanisław Miądzel opened to 700 from middle position and action folded around to Csaba Takacs in the big blind, who three-bet to 3,300. Miądzel called.

Miądzel called a 5,400 bet from Takacs on the KA4 flop and then bet 10,000 after being checked to on the Q turn. Takacs called.

Takacs check-called another 10,000 bet from Miądzel on the 3 river and Miądzel tabled AxKx for top two pair. Takacs revealed QQ for a turned set of queens and took down the sizable pot.
