Luka Bojovic opened to 3,500 from middle positon and called when Vito Vella three-bet to 10,500 from the hijack.

Bojovic check-called bets of 8,000 and 18,000 on the flop and turn for the final board to read K♠7♣4♠9♣10♣. Bojovic checked once more and Vella jammed as the big stack.

Bojovic opted to preserve the 73,000 he had behind and folded.

Hossein Ensan made it 3,500 to go and Leon Sturm on the button then three-bet to 11,000. Alex Peffly in the big blind four-bet to 30,500, which sent Ensan into the tank. The WSOP Main Event champion eventually folded and Sturm came to the same conclusion.

Since the start of the day, Peffly has already chipped up significantly while Sturm remains one of the big stacks in the room.

Candido Cappiello had lost a big portion of his stack earlier while Anson Tsang doubled and the latter was then in the big blind, facing the open raise to 3,600 by Ramzi Zuraikat. Cappiello three-bet to 9,000 and Tsang let go, while Zuraikat called.

On the K♦K♣2♣ flop, Zuraikat check-called for 5,000 and checked again the A♣ turn. Cappiello now bet 8,000 and that won the pot uncontested,

Majer made the top pair on the J♣8♥2♠ flop but had a mighty sweat to endure on the 10♦ turn when Zukernik picked up straight outs to go with his two live cards. One of them came with the A♥ river and Majer shook his head, snapped a picture of the "bad beat" before leaving the tournament area.

Rozhanovskyi Snaps Off Persson

Heads-up on a flop of 2♣4♣10♥, Kalle Persson bet 8,000 from the button and Borys Rozhanovskyi called in the cutoff.

The turn came the 6♠ and Persson bet another 20,000. Rozhanovskyi again called and the 5♣ fell on the river.

Persson then moved all in for around 15,000 more and Rozhanovskyi practically beat him into the pot, showing K♣6♣ for a rivered flush. Persson showed A♥A♠ before heading for the exit.

Day 1b chip leader Levan Rcheulishvili is also at this table and has slightly increased his chip stack so far today.

Madhariwar check-raised to 16,000 on the 8♥7♥7♠ flop after Stausholm bet 5,000. The latter folded.

The following hand, Madhariwar opened to 3,500 from early position and was called by Ion Tabacaru on his direct left. Chris Brewer made it 14,000 from the button, and both players called.

The A♥J♦2♠ flop checked through to the 4♥ turn. Madhariwar bet 20,000, and only Brewer called.

Brewer then folded on the 3♣ river when his opponent moved all in.

Rosilllio Obtains Massive Stack as Rohde Can Not Let It Go

The action was caught when the board had already been completed, and it read 6♦K♦A♣8♠Q♦. Hen Rosilio then tanked for a few minutes in the big blind before the clock was called on him.

Before the floorman could come over, however, Rosilio decided to put his opponent Michael Rohde all-in for his last 65,000 chips. Rohde lamented his situation and took a few minutes of his own before finally putting in the call.

Rosilio showed A♦K♥ for top two pair, while Rohde tried to muck his Q♥J♥ for just a rivered pair of queens. However, the dealer retrieved as is mandatory for an all-in situation, and Rohde stormed off while Roslio crossed the half-million mark.
