The 26 remaining players are on their first 15-minute break of the day.
On the last hand before break, Michael Rocco bet 125,000 from early position on a flop of 2♣5♥5♦ and Dario Sammartino called in the small blind.
Both players checked the 6♣ turn before Sammartino led out for 160,000 on the 8♥ river. Rocco then raised to 525,000 and Sammartino called.
Rocco showed 7♦7♣ and Sammartino mucked before both players left the table for break.
Heads-up on a board of 10♠2♦8♥4♥ in a three-bet pot, Andrej Cintula bet 220,000 from early position and Giuseppe Mazza-Boussemart called under the gun.
The river came the J♠ and Cintula bet another 635,000. "I thought you had pocket jacks for sure," Mazza-Boussemart said as he went into the tank for several minutes.
"Big fold," he eventually said, later claiming he mucked two kings.
Levan Rcheulishvili jammed for 835,000 from the hijack and Timo Kamphues snap-called from the big blind.
Levan Rcheulishvili: A♣Q♥
Timo Kamphues: A♠K♥
The K♦J♥10♥ flop improved Rcheulishvili to the nut draught to overcome his domination. The board completed with the 3♦9♥ runout.
Michael Rocco again checked through the Q♥7♦4♣ flop, this time against Eric Tsai, as the 8♦ fell on the turn.
Tsai then bet 250,000 in the big blind and Rocco raised to 900,000. Tsai called and the 6♥ fell on the river.
Rocco stood holding his position, leaning back in his chair with his arms crossed over his chest, for so long that Tsai eventually called the clock. Rocco then bet 300,000.
"Bad river," Tsai said as he called, turning over 7♠7♥ for a set of sevens. Rocco tossed 4♠4♦ into the muck.
Hyunsup Kim raised to 110,000 from the hijack before being faced with a three-bet of 350,000 from Kasparas Klezys in the small blind. Kim put in the extra chips for a call and a flop of 5♥8♠2♣ was dealt.
Klezys did not let up and continued for 210,000 chips. Kim made the call before both players checked the J♠. The J♥ river then paired the board and Klezys decided to put Kim to the test.
Klezys put Kim all-in for his final 830,000 chips. Kim mulled it over for a little bit but ultimately decided to lay his hand down.
"Bluff?", Kim asked while another pot was shipped Klezys' way, but he received no response.
Alf Martinsson opened to 100,000 from the cutoff and Hacine Chatteur called from the big blind.
Chatteur checked-jammed for 460,000 on the 10♦7♥6♥ flop after Martinsson bet 65,000. The latter snap-called.
Hacine Chatteur: K♠3♦
Alf Martinsson: 10♠10♣
Chatteur's ambitious move was stopped dead in its tracks, and he was eliminated after the 7♣ turn and 6♣ runout.
Andrej Cintula opened to 110,000 from under the gun and called when Eusebiu Jalba three-bet to 330,000 from the hijack. The A♣Q♠9♠ flop checked through to the 6♠ turn. Cintula check-folded to a bet of 250,000.
Michael Rocco raised to 120,000 in early position and Ruslan Volkov called on the button.
Both players checked the K♦2♥6♦ flop, and Rocco also checked the 4♦ turn. Volkov then bet 200,000 and Rocco called.
The river was the 4♣ and Volkov bet another 400,000. Rocco tanked for a minute before tossing in the chips, and Volkov showed him K♠J♥ for two pair, kings and fours, to win the pot.
