Ghizaoui Takes Out Loeser, Seman Breathes a Sigh of Relief

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Manig Loeser moved all in for around 25,000 in early position before Jamel Ghizaoui reshoved in middle position. Action folded to Vitalii Seman in the big blind, who, with around 40,000 remaining, tanked for several minutes until the clock was called. He eventually decided to fold.

Manig Loeser: AJ
Jamel Ghizaoui: AQ

Ghizaoui had Loeser dominated as the board ran out 7K4KA, giving both players two pair but Ghizaoui's queen-kicker played to send Loeser to the rail.

"You win on the river. Jacks," Seman told Ghizaoui.

Mir Gets Three Streets From Katsikas

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Heads-up on a flop of J9K, Francisco Mir bet 3,500 from middle position and Dimitrios Katsikas called in early position.

The turn came the 6 and Mir bet another 8,000. Katsikas again called as the 4 fell on the river.

Mir then fired out 16,000 and Katsikas called. Mir opened up J9 for two pair and Katsikas mucked his cards.

Robin Ylitalo and Quan Zhou both recently reentered and took their seats at this table, while Fausto Tantillo is also here.

Andreas Krause opened to 3,000 from the button and called when Maria Lampropulos moved all in for 13,500 from the small blind.

Maria Lampropulos: A6
Andreas Krause: QJ

The AQ5 saw Lampropulos pair her ace, but Krause also had a pair of queens to go along with his flush draw. The K turn also gave Krause outs to Broadway, but the 3 river confirmed Lampropulos' survival.

Tursunovic Shows Signs of Tilt

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Senad Tursunovic opened to 2,200 from the hijack and called when Matthias Kribben moved all in for 16,700 from the button.

Matthias Kribben: 99
Senad Tursunovic: AJ

Tursunovic slammed his fist on the table as he failed to connect on the 10332Q runout.

"I folded AJ," said one of his tablemates, which was probably not something Tursunovic wanted to hear after the pot was pushed to Kribben.

East Runs Into Jacks

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Jareth East was down to around 10,000 and moved all in from middle position as Franz Holzner had him at risk in the hijack.

Jareth East: J10
Franz Holzner: JJ

The 72Q flop was no help to East, and he was already drawing dead after the 3 turn. The inconsequential river was the A and East headed off to the exit.
