Hissou Gets There on the River

Fahredin Mustafov opened from under the gun to 25,000. He was called by Orpen Kisacikoglu in the hijack and Sirzat Hissou in the cutoff.

"We've played this hand before. You [Kisacikoglu] have deuces and you [Hissou] have jack-three of spades" said Mustafov as the dealer fanned the 767 flop. Mustafov and Kisacikoglu checked to Hissou who bet 35,000. Mustafov folded and Kisacikoglu called.

Kisacikoglu check-called a bet of 85,000 on the 8. The 6 river was checked down. Kisacikoglu's 44 was bested by Hissou's 109 for a straight.

Blom check-called for 18,000 on the KJ9 flop, and made his straight on the Q turn. Foxen picked up a flush draw, which came in after action checked through to the 2 river.

Blom led out for 86,000, and Foxen raised to a sizeable 459,000. Blom found the fold and remained with a starting stack.

Daniel Dvoress 86 opened to 27,000 second to act and Tom-Aksel Bedell 76 defended his big blind.

Bedell check-called bets of 38,000 and 120,000 for the final board to read 753J4.

Both players rivered a straight, but Dvoress had the checkmark with an eight-high straight. Bedell bet 225,000 and called when Dvoress jammed for 413,000.

Bedell dropped below one million and Dvoress shot up the counts.

Neither player connected on the 752 flop, and action checked through to the K turn, giving Chidwick top pair. He checked before K. Foxen bet 45,000 with her flush draw. A. Foxen folded, and Chidwick called.

The J river checked through to showdown and Chidwick chipped up.

Kisacikoglu check-called a bet of 35,000 on 88J. Hissou called. The 4 was checked around, as was the A river. Kisacikoglu showed 22 for two pair but was bested by Hissou's 99 for a better two pair.

Aces for Foxen; Blom Rivers a Straight

Tom-Aksel Bedell AQ opened to 25,000 from the hijack and called when Kristen Foxen AA three-bet to 130,000 from the big blind. Bedell check-folded to a bet of 80,000 on the 1072 flop.

The following hand, Viktor Blom J9 opened to 22,000 from the hijack. K. Foxen 87 and A. Foxen 99 called from the blinds.

A. Foxen remained ahead following the K1010 flop and action checked through to the 3 turn. The Foxens checked again, and Blom fired out 28,000. Only A. Foxen called.

Blom made a straight on the Q river and A. Foxen check-folded to a bet of 145,000.
