Nines Good For Babl

Level 7 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Sergi Reixach made it 2,400 from middle position and Przemyslaw Szymanski called in the next seat. Maximilian Babl made the call on the button, and Jannik Rost came along from the big blind.

All four checked the J25 flop to the 7 turn, where the action checked around to Babl, who fired 2,900. Rost called, then Reixach and Szymanski folded.

A 10 dropped on the river and both players checked it down, with Rost announcing that he had a deuce. Babl had that beat, though, and showed 99 to claim the pot.

Foxen Forces a Fold

Level 6 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Jorge Manzur Duarte opened the action from under the gun with a raise to 2,200, picking up three callers.

The 105J flop and 4 turn were checked around by all players.

On the 2 river, Duarte led out with a bet of 2,500 after the blinds checked. However, William Foxen wasn’t done and fired back with a raise to 24,000. The blinds quickly folded, leaving Duarte to deliberate. After some thought, he ultimately decided to fold, giving Foxen the pot.

Almasi Not Happy With the River

Level 6 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Attila Almasi
Attila Almasi

With around 35,000 chips in the middle on a full board of 74QK4, Attila Almasi had fired 20,000 then Richard Hromcik shoved. Almasi had around 26,000 behind and after a long time thinking, he elected to call, which put him at risk.

Hromcik showed 64 for rivered trips, and Almasi angrily flipped QJ for a pair of queens, which meant he was eliminated.

Level 6 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Farid Jattin
Farid Jattin

Farid Jattin raised to 2,000 in middle position, Cecile Ticherfatine three-bet to 7,500 on the button, and Jattin called.

The flop came KJ2 and Ticherfatine bet 14,000. Jattin called and both players checked the 3 turn.

The 2 fell on the river and Jattin methodically cut out 59,800 from his stack and put it in the middle. Ticherfatine also took a few minutes before she folded as Jattin took down the pot that boosted his stack up to around 400,000.

Zdenek Svoboda three-bet to 6,500 in the small blind and Daniel Tafur called on the button.

Svoboda continued for 5,000 on the Q6K flop and Tafur called. Svoboda then bet 7,700 on the 7 turn and Tafur again called.

"Yeah, I know. Two outs you had," Tafur said as he flashed 96 for a pair and flush draw.

Deeb Falls to Girard

Level 6 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

With two players seeing a final board of 38A410 and around 70,000 in the middle, Hugues Girard had moved all in from the small blind, covering Shaun Deeb who had around 80,000 behind from the hijack. Deeb went deep into the tank.

"You know I hate to fold right"? Deeb asked Girard, who remained silent as Deeb weighed his options.

Deeb quietly went over different combinations of hands Girard could have and after a few minutes he stuck in the call.

Deeb had top pair with AJ but Girard had him out-kicked with AK and he took down a massive pot while Deeb made his exit from the tournament area.
