Dietzinger Runs Into Tilica's Straight

Level 21 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

With roughly 500,000 in the pot on a board of 8710J, Dietzinger had bet 200,000 from the big blind before Bogdan Tilica shoved all in from under the gun. The shove was for Dietzinger's remaining 450,000.

Dietzinger went deep into the take and thought for so long that a tablemate called the clock. When the floor staff counted all the way down to two seconds, Dietzinger called.

Uwe Dietzinger: JJ All in
Bogdan Tilica: 97

Dahan Turns the Nuts to Bust Kyriakopoulos

Level 21 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Sebastien Lucina raised to 60,000 and Asher Dahan three-bet to 180,000 from the button. Ioannis Kyriakopoulos then four-bet shoved from the small blind for 440,000. Lucian folded but Dahan sheepishly called.

Ioannis Kyriakopoulos: 66 All in
Asher Dahan: J10

Dahan had been caught with his hand in the cookie jar, but still was in a flip against Kyriakopoulos' pocket sixes. The runout of 8579A left Kyriakopoulos drawing dead on the turn as Dahan hit a straight.

Chatzopoulos Runs Out of Luck with King-Queen

Level 21 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Apostolos Chatzopoulos
Apostolos Chatzopoulos

Apostolos Chatzopoulos found himself in a downward spiral, starting with a massive pot loss to Dennis Krusch.

With the board showing 5695J and around 450,000 already in the pot, Krusch bet 250,000. Chatzopoulos responded by shoving all-in for roughly 700,000. Krusch agonized over the decision, knowing that calling would put him at risk. After a long deliberation, he made the call. Chatzopoulos revealed KQ, bluffing, while Krusch showed KJ, winning the hand with two pair—jacks and fives.

In the very next hand, Chatzopoulos was left with just 135,000 in the big blind. Patrick Bueno, sitting in middle position, raised to 80,000, and Chatzopoulos went all-in. Bueno snap-called.

Apostolos Chatzopoulos: 75All in
Patrick Bueno: KQ

This time, it was Bueno’s turn to hold KQ, and the board ran out AK410J. Chatzopoulos couldn’t find the miracle he needed, and with that, his tournament run came to an abrupt end.

Stephen Nahm and David Savocka engaged in a massive pre-flop raising war that ended with Savocka all in for 1,800,000 from the button as Nahm had him covered in early position.

Stephen Nahm: QQ

Nearly 4,000,000 was at stake as the flop came 86A, giving Savocka top pair and the lead. The turn, though, was the Q to give Nahm a set. The river was the 2 and Nahm scooped the pot to send Savocka to the rail while moving into contention for the tournament chip lead.

"Can I go to bed now?" Nahm said after the hand.

"You can go to the restaurant. Take a longer dinner break," another tablemate joked with him.

Kruschack Sends Veldhoen Packing with Two Pair

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

After Wolfgang Kruschack limped in from early position, Henrik Veldhoen raised the stakes to 85,000, a move that Kruschack quickly called.

As the flop revealed 544, Kruschack checked before executing a bold check-raise, going all-in after Veldhoen’s bet of 45,000. Caught off guard by this unexpected twist, Veldhoen made the call, showing A10 for a flush draw, while Kruschack proudly revealed A5, displaying two pair.

The turn brought the 2, and the river followed with 2, failing to help Veldhoen improve his hand. With no winning combination in sight, he was eliminated from the tournament.

Bielen Shoves on Ciuca; Marcehal Sends Acar Steaming to the Rail

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Frederic Marechal
Frederic Marechal

In a blind versus blind battle, Andrei Ciuca led out for 125,000 on a board of 910A7 and Bob Bielen called.

The river was the A and Ciuca checked. Bielen then moved all in, putting Ciuca to a decision for the rest of his 300,000. Ciuca tanked for several minutes until he folded and Bielen flashed the 3 as he took the pot.

At the same time at another table, Ercan Acar and Frederic Marechal were on the river with the board showing 21045J when Acar bet 200,000 from under the gun.

Marechal then moved all in for 1,050,000 in the hijack. Acar slammed his chips on the felt and spent nearly five minutes muttering expletives until he called. Marechal turned over 1010 for a set and Acar threw KK across the table before smacking his stack all over the table and rushing off to the exit.
