Shuts Flops Top Set to Bust Martini

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Pavel Izotov raised to 5,500 from middle position with Julien Martini calling from the seat next to him. Maksim Shuts then squeezed to 25,500 from the blinds. Izotov folded but Martini made the call.

On the A910 flop, Shuts bet roughly 50,000 to put Maritin all-in, and after a few moments Martini called.

Shuts was ahead with top set and just had to avoid the straight draw of Martini. The 5 turn followed by the 3 river kept Shuts ahead and sent Martini out the door.
