Holskyi and Chidwick Catch Each Other Speeding
Stephen Chidwick opened to 2,500 from the cutoff and Konstantyn Holskyi defended his big blind. Holskyi check-raised to 10,000 over a bet of 1,500 on the A♦9♠2♣ flop, and Chidwick matched the wager. Holskyi then check-called for 18,000 on the 10♥ turn to swell the pot to 62,500. Holskyi checked once more and quickly called when Chidwick made an overbet of 75,000.
Chidwick tabled K♦9♠ for a pair of nines, but his hand went into the muck after his opponent had two pair with A♥2♦.
The following hand, Holskyi limped in from the small blind and called when Chidwick bumped it up to 4,000 from the big blind. Holskyi check-called for 3,000 on the A♠10♠4♦ flop before the 4♥ turn checked through to the 8♠ river. Holskyi led out for 10,000; this time, it was Chidwick's turn to promptly call.
Holskyi was bluffing with air and turned over J♠9♦. Chidwick showed down A♣8♣ which was good for aces and eights.
