Kabrhel Gets Shoved on Twice

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Martin Kabrhel bet 65,000 from the small blind on a flop of 954 and Makarios Avramidis moved all in for 306,000 in the cutoff. Kabrhel shot up from his seat and looked over at Avramidis' stack before sitting back down and sending his cards into the muck.

Kabrhel then went to a flop of 1052 against Franz George when he bet 20,000 from the cutoff. George called in the big blind.

The turn was the Q and Kabrhel bet 250,000. He was still sliding his chips in the middle when George announced all in, and Kabrhel again snap-folded.

Pignataro Counterfeits Barbaranelli's Deuces

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Alexandre Barbaranelli shoved his stack of around 90,000 in from the button and was put at risk by Luigi Pignataro in the big blind.

Alexandre Barbaranelli: 22 All in
Luigi Pignataro: AJ

Barbaranelli had the ducks and needed them to hold up in order to double up. That was going to plan on the K655 runout, until the K river put two pair on board, which counterfeited Barbaranelli's pair and sent him to the rail.

Burneikis in the Mood to Gamble Against Alexandridis

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Symeon Alexandridis
Symeon Alexandridis

Vladas Burneikis raised to 24,000 in early position and Georgios Mylonas called in the cutoff. Symeon Alexandridis then moved all in for 120,000 on the button and Burneikis called. Mylonas, meanwhile, used a few time banks but eventually decided to fold, leaving Alexandridis heads-up against Burneikis with his tournament life on the line.

Symeon Alexandridis: KJ All in
Vladas Burneikis: J6

"Let's gamble," Burneikis said after the cards were revealed. The board ran out 1073K8 and Alexandridis' pair of kings were good enough for him to earn a double up.

Avramidis' Pocket Sevens Hold

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Martin Kabrhel started with a limp from early position, which prompted two players to call from behind. Makarios Avramidis peeled back his cards in the big blind, then jammed for 177,000. Kabrhel was the only caller with the covering stack.

Makarios Avramidis: 77 All in
Martin Kabrhel: 44

Avramidis' pair of sevens had Kabrhel dominated heading to the 396 flop, where neither player improved. The rest of the board came QJ and Avramidis earned a double-up through Kabrhel.

Kotowicz Wins a Huge Race Against Zizka

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

After a raising war preflop, Sebastian Kotowicz got his stack of 427,000 into the middle preflop from middle position with Zdenek Zizka, who was seated under the gun, trying to claim his bounty.

Sebastian Kotowicz: QQ All in
Zdenek Zizka: AK

It was a big race that would propel either player towards the top of the chip counts. Kotowicz took a huge lead on the QA3 flop by hitting a set of queens. Zizka was drawing dead after the 9 fell on the turn as an inconsequential 5 rolled off on the river.

Kotowicz moved up to around 865,000, while Zizka was left with just 15 big blinds.

Sikora Shows Down a Monster

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Around 200,000 was already in the pot as Mateusz Sikora and Jaroslav Korcak went to the turn on a board of K1043. Sikora then bet 50,000 from under the gun, and Korcak called in the big blind.

The river was the A and Korcak slid forward a tower of orange 5,000 chips for a bet totaling 100,000. Sikora used a time bank and tanked for nearly a minute before calling.

Korcak showed K9, while Sikora turned over AA for a set to win the pot.

Zizka Out-Kicked by Bizzarro

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Zdenek Zizka made it 25,000 to go from middle position and John Bizzarro called from the button.

Both saw the 58K flop hit the felt and Zizka tapped the table and then called a bet of 30,000 from Bizzarro.

The J turn checked through to the 7 river, where Zizka announced a bet of 58,000. Bizzarro snap-called.

Zizka then showed a pair of kings with K2, but that was no good as Bizzarro held KQ for a pair of kings with a better kicker.

Winkler Melts Koleckar's Snowmen

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

From under the gun, Jakub Koleckar jammed for 129,000, which only Andre Winkler called out of the big blind.

Jakub Koleckar: 88 All in
Andre Winkler: A10

It was a flip that Koleckar needed to win to stay alive, but the 9A2 flop paired Winkler's ace and left Koleckar on the brink of elimination. A 4 turn and Q river didn't help Koleckar, and all of his chips were sent over to Winkler.

Patrick Raffetseder: KJ All in
Renji Mao: KQ

Mao had Raffetseder dominated and at risk as the flop came A84. The rest of the board ran out 76 and Mao improved to a flush to win the pot and send Raffetseder to the rail.
