Bendik Cracks Zhao's Aces on the River

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Cheng Zhao bet 25,000 from the hijack on the QJ5 flop before Jan Bendik raised to 75,000 in the cutoff. Zhao then moved all in for 155,000, and Bendik quickly called.

Cheng Zhao: AA All in
Jan Bendik: KQ

Zhao was ahead with his aces against Bendik's top pair as the turn came the 8, but Bendik hit the K on the river to make two pair and send Zhao to the rail.

"Unlucky, man," tablemate Martin Kabrhel told Zhao.

"Next time," Zhao added as he made his exit.

Koleckar & Guettaoui Both Find Double-Ups

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Patrick Raffetseder raised to 16,000 from the hijack and Makarios Avramidis called in the cutoff before Jakub Koleckar shoved 71,000 from the small blind. Raffetseder quickly reshoved, and Avramidis folded.

Jakub Koleckar: 99 All in
Patrick Raffetseder: 77

Koleckar was ahead with his nines, and remained there throughout the entirety of the hand as the 6QA84 runout earned him a double-up.

Elsewhere, Felix Seelentag opened to 24,000 from middle position and Mehdi Guettaoui shoved from the big blind for around 120,000. After some deliberation, Seelentag called.

Mehdi Guettaoui: AA All in
Felix Seelentag: 97

Seelentag had the kind of hand needed to crack aces, and the flop of 1096 gave him a shot at doing so as he made a pair with a straight draw. Fortunately for Guettaoui, the runout of KQ kept his aces ahead, which earned him a double-up.

Plauska and Speranzoni Chop the Pot

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Alberto Speranzoni
Alberto Speranzoni

Symeon Alexandridis made it 16,000 from early position with Alberto Speranzoni calling from the next seat, Modestas Plauska calling out of the small blind, and Amit Buganim defending his big blind.

After three checks on the A78 flop, Speranzoni placed out a bet of 24,000, which only Plauska called.

A K hit the turn and Plauska check-called a bet of 45,000 by Speranzoni.

Upon seeing the 10 fall on the river, Plauska quickly jammed for around 220,000. Speranzoni thought it over for roughly one minute before deciding to make the call for over half his stack.

Plauska flipped over A10 for a rivered two pair and chopped the pot with Speranzoni, who showed A10 for the same two pair.

Kabrhel Collects Phung's Bounty, Nears Seven-Figure Stack

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

When it got to Martin Kabrhel in the small blind, he shoved, which put Helmut Phung to the test for his remaining stack of around 90,000 in the big blind. After burning through a time bank, Phung stuck it in, leaving him at risk.

Helmut Phung: Q5 All in
Martin Kabrhel: J7

"Nice slowroll," joked Kabrhel. Phung was ahead with his queen-high, but not for long as Kabrhel flopped a pair on A2J. Phung couldn't catch up on the 68 runout, which left him on the rail.

Kabrhel's stack neared seven figures after that pot after stacking Pascal Heinrichs with quad sixes over a turned full house not so long ago.

Fazeli Gets Value From Sikora

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Seyed Fazeli raised to 16,000 under the gun, Mateusz Sikora three-bet to 50,000 on the button, and Fazeli called.

Sikora continued for 40,000 on the KJ8 flop and Fazeli called. Both players then checked the 9 turn.

The river was the A and Fazeli led out for 50,000. Sikora quickly called, then mucked when Fazeli showed A9 for two pair to win the pot.
