The action folded around to Franz George in the small blind, who shoved. Ioannis Chorianopoulos had 575,000 in his stack sitting in the big blind, and after peeking at his cards, he called.

Pablo Heredia raised to 125,000 in middle position and Pawel Wojciechowski three-bet to 380,000 on the button. Heredia then moved all in, and Wojciechowski snap-called, creating the biggest pot of the tournament so far with more than 5,000,000 at stake.

The stacks had to be counted down, and Wojciechowski's 2,800,000 had Heredia's remaining 2,300,000 covering, sending Heredia to the rail in eighth place.
From early position, Mateusz Sikora raised to 120,000 and only Jan Bendik defended out of the big blind.
Bendik and Sikora checked a flop of 9♦5♥3♣ to see the J♠ appear on the turn. Bendik led out for 150,000, which was enough to force Sikora to fold.
