Bendik Claws a Chunk Out of Wojciechowski's Stack

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Jan Bendik
Jan Bendik

Jan Bendik opened from under the gun to 225,000 and Pawel Wojciechowski called from the big blind.

After the flop came 65Q, Wojciechowski checked and Bendik fired out a continuation-bet of 225,000. Wojciechowski then made a raise to 625,000, which Bendik immediately called.

A 6 on the turn paired the board and put a flush draw on board, which gave Wojciechowski enough reason to continue firing, but this time with a smaller size of 525,000. Again, Bendik snap-called.

The 2 on the river brought in both flush and straight draws, which garnered a check from Wojciechowski after he used a time bank. Bendik was thinking out loud and after around 20 seconds, he knuckled back.

Wojciechowski then revealed K7 for king-high, but Bendik's pair of queens with QJ was good for the pot.

Mateusz Sikora

Pawel Wojciechowski raised to 180,000 under the gun with Mateusz Sikora making the call out of the big blind.

Sikora knuckled the action over to Wojciechowski on the 8J9 flop, and Wojciechowski tossed out a min-bet of 80,000. Sikora check-jammed for 750,000, which was snap-called by Wojciechowski.

Mateusz Sikora: 73 All in
Pawel Wojciechowski: KQ

Sikora was in rough shape with inferior straight and flush draws. The remainder of the board ran out 28, meaning Wojciechowski won the pot with king-high, sending Sikora to the rail just shy of a podium finish.

Sikora Gets Two Shoves Through

Level 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

"Do you have aces again?" Mateusz Sikora asked Pawel Wojciechowski after action folded to him in the small blind.

"If you give me a walk, I won't look," Wojciechowski replied. Sikora, though, then moved all in for 665,000.

"I don't want to bust you, my friend from Poland," Wojciechowski said as he took a peek at his cards before sending them into the muck.

Sikora shoved again a few hands later, standing up from his seat as the rest of the table quickly folded.

Mateusz Sikora managed to get a shove through and pick up some valuable chips, but was still the short stack with four remaining.

Dorian Melchers just opened from under the gun to 160,000, and Jan Bendik picked up a bunch of chips and threw them into the pot for a three-bet of 505,000 from the big blind. Melchers used a time bank, but ultimately decided to fold.

The next hand, Melchers and Mateusz Sikora checked to the river in a limped pot between the blinds on a board of 5K9Q6. Melchers checked again on the river and Sikora bet 100,000, but Melchers then raised to 700,000.

Sikora called, only to be shown 87 for the nut straight as Melchers took the pot.
