Melchers Rivers Two Pair and Gets Paid by Bendik

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Jan Bendik completed from the small blind and Dorian Melchers checked his option out of the big blind.

Once Bendik saw the flop of 97J come out, he immediately tossed out a bet of 75,000. Melchers continued with a call.

A Q hit the turn and both players checked for the 3 to complete the board. Bendik bet 125,000, and was met by a raise to 400,000 from Melchers. Bendik made the call and then mucked after Melchers revealed a rivered two pair with J3.

Sikora's Bet Met With a Quick Shove

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Mateusz Sikora opened from early position to 120,000 and Jan Bendik called from the big blind.

The flop came 934 and after Bendik checked, Sikora announced a bet of 200,000. Before he could even lay the chips out in front of him, Bendik had shoved. Sikora had around 760,000 behind and reluctantly decided to fold.

It wasn't all bad news for Sikora, as he had taken down a few uncontested pots earlier, which limited the damage to his stack.

Jan Bendik raised to 105,000 in the hijack and Pablo Heredia called in the small blind.

The flop came 885 and Heredia quickly check-folded after Bendik continued for 75,000.

Bendik raised to 105,000 again the next hand, and this time Ioannis Chorianopoulos came along from the big blind.

Bendik bet 75,000 on the AJ8 flop and Chorianopoulos called. The 7 turn and 2 river were checked down, and Chorianopoulos showed A3 for top pair. Bendik let out a loud sigh as he mucked.

Pawel Wojciechowski

Pawel Wojciechowski made it 100,000 from the cutoff and only Mateusz Sikora called from the big blind.

Sikora check-called a bet of 80,000 by Wojciechowski on the K67 flop.

The 8 appeared on the turn and both players checked for the 5 to fall on the river. Sikora gathered together a bet of 250,000, causing Wojciechowski to burn through two time banks before making the call.

Sikora could only show queen-high with QJ, and lost the pot to Wojciechowski's pair of kings holding KQ.

Three-Bets Are the Current Trend

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

A few more hands passed by with no flops on the horizon.

First, Jan Bendik opened from under the gun to 110,000 and then folded when Dorian Melchers three-bet to 400,000 from the next seat.

Pablo Heredia then raised to 105,000 from middle position and folded to the shove of Georgios Mylonas, who moved all in for 685,000 from the button.

Mylonas was involved again when he raised the cutoff to 100,000, but then he released his hand when Pawel Wojciechowski three-bet to 250,000 from the button.

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Amit Buganim
Amit Buganim

Amit Buganim jammed for 440,000 under the gun and Franz George moved all in over the top from the cutoff for 850,000. Once the rest of the table folded, the cards were shown with Buganim being at risk.

Amit Buganim: A10 All in
Franz George: AK

George's big slick dominated Buganim's ace-ten heading to the 5Q6 flop, which improved neither player. Buganim found no help on the 3 turn or 3 river, and he was the first elimination of the final table.

Dorian Melchers opened from the hijack to 100,000 and Ioannis Chorianopoulos flicked in calling chips from the big blind.

A flop of KJ6 landed on the table and after Chorianopoulos checked it over, Melchers bet 60,000. Chorianopoulos called to the 9 turn, where both tapped the table.

When the 8 hit the river, Chorianopoulos bet 75,000, and Melchers took some time to mull it over before he elected to lay it down.

Pawel Wojciechowski

Pawel Wojciechowski raised to 100,000 in early position and Jan Bendik three-bet to 350,000 in the hijack. Wojciechowski used a time bank before announcing all in, and Bendik snap-called.

Pawel Wojciechowski: AA All in
Jan Bendik: AK

Wojciechowski had picked up aces and was poised for the massive double up as the flop came 887. The K turn gave Bendik a glimmer of hope, but he missed the 6 and Wojciechowski secured the pot.

The dealer counted out Wojciechowski's stack and Bendik paid him 1,215,000, shaking his head and taking a few sips from his coffee while Wojciechowski flexed his biceps in celebration.
