First, he shoved 785,000 from under the gun and took down the blinds. Then, Pablo Beltran opened the button to 90,000 and George shoved 845,000 from the big blind. Beltran folded.

Both players checked a flop of 6♣10♦10♥ for the 2♣ to roll off on the turn. Chorianopoulos led out for 65,000, which Wojciechowski called.

A 3♣ hit the river and Chorianopoulos led out again, this time for 140,000. Wojciechowski returned his cards to the dealer, and Chorianopoulos was awarded the pot.

Amit Buganim made it 70,000 from under the gun and Melchers three-bet to 210,000 from the next seat. When it got back to Buganim, he shoved, and Melchers snap-called for his stack of 1,390,000.

Jan Bendik raised to 75,000 from the hijack before Andreas Karasz jammed for 550,000 from the cutoff. When it folded back around to Bendik, he called to try and eliminate Karasz.

Karasz was dominated by Bendik's big slick and needed a queen to keep his chances of making the final table alive.

A favorable flop of Q♣2♦4♠ came down for Karasz, putting him in the lead with a pair of queens. A 9♥ on the turn meant only an ace on the river would send Karasz home. The dealer burned a card, then completed the board with the A♣, giving Bendik a pair of aces.

Karasz was out in 12th, and Bendik was up to almost three million.

Melchers Wins a Flip Against Kotowicz

It was a fair fight, and one that leaned in Kotowicz's favor as the 10♣A♥7♠ flop kept his pair of sixes in the lead. However, things swung in Melchers' direction on the turn as the J♣ gave him a pair and a firm lock on the hand.

Only a six on the river would see Melchers eliminated, but the 8♦ wasn't it, which meant he doubled up.
