Eldabach Jams Into Casagrande

Level 5 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Three ways to the 652 flop, Harald Casagrande bet 10,000 from the big blind to get called by Dorel Eldabach two seats over, and Maksim Shuts on the button. Casagrande then led the 10 turn for 45,000 with 43,900 behind, and Eldabach moved all in.

Shuts quickly folded, and Casagrande went into the tank. The clock was called on the Austrian, but Casagrande folded before any additional countdown was enforced. Eldabach checked his cards up close and flashed the 43 before collecting the pot.

Lampropoulos Doubles via Neugebauer in Cooler

Level 5 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Nikolaos Lampropoulos
Nikolaos Lampropoulos

A pot of 51,500 had developed by a flop of 1084, in a hand between Max Neugebauer in the cutoff and Nikolaos Lampropoulos on the button.

Neugebauer checked, and Lampropoulos fired out a pot-sized bet. Neugebauer check-jammed with the covering stack, and Lampropoulos quickly called off for his 95,600 total stack.

Nikolaos Lampropoulos: AAQQ All in
Max Neugebauer: KK65

It was an aces versus kings cooler, but Neugebauer had outs to the heart draw. Much to Lampropoulos' relief, the J turn and 2 river were bricks.

Krasimir Yankov
Krasimir Yankov

Three ways to the 1075Q turn, Krasimir Yankov bet 8,000 when checked to, and was called only by Dennis Weiss as they then headed to the 6 on the river. Once Yankov had checked, Weiss opted to check behind.

Yankov tabled K975 for flopped two pair and a missed double draw on the turn, which was good enough to win the pot.

Eldabach Jams River

Level 5 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Dorel Eldabach
Dorel Eldabach

Harald Casagrande opened to 2,500 from early position, and was faced with a three-bet to 9,000 from Dorel Eldabach in the cutoff. Action back to Casagrande, who called.

The flop came K52, and Casagrande check-called versus a bet of 9,000 from Eldabach.

The same pattern followed on the 8 turn, this time in respect of a bet of 11,500 from Eldabach.

Casagrande changed approach on the Q river, leading out with a bet of 27,000.

Eldabach jammed for 50,000, and despite it not being much more, Casagrande folded, showing the K as he did so.

Trojand Takes Small Pot Off Cowen

Level 5 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Jeremy Trojand announced a raise the very second he moved forward an orange T-5,000 chip on the button, and the floor was called, which ruled it as a pot-sized raise to 3,500. Robert Cowen, in the big blind, called, and they checked the A99 flop. On the 7 turn, Cowen check-called a bet of 3,000, and they checked the 7 on the river.

Cowen flashed the Q but could not beat Trojand's A1033.

Another Showdown Pot for Casagrande

Level 5 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Heads-up to the A7510 turn, Harald Casagrande bet 15,000 and Dorel Eldabach called, then tried to hide his face on the 2 river. Casagrande eyeballed his opponent, and Max Neugebauer pointed out to Eldabach that in his attempt to hide his face, he had grabbed the larger chips unintentionally. Eldabach put them back on the felt with a smile, and Casagrande checked. Eldabach checked behind.

Casagrande announced a set and showed the AA55, which won the pot.

"Why do you check?" Eldabach asked.

Casagrande replied, "Maybe you have a straight."

Filip Lovric

Jeremy Trojand opened to 2,800 from middle position, and Filip Lovric called in the small blind.

On the J87 flop, Lovric led out with a bet of 7,200, and Trojand called.

The 9 hit on the turn, and Lovric double-barreled with a bet of 15,200.

Trojand took some time for thought before raising to 100,000, and Lovric quickly got his 46,000 total stack into the middle.

Filip Lovric: Q10109 All in
Jeremy Trojand: KJ103

Lovric had the queen-high straight, but still had outs to dodge versus Trojand's flush draw and gutshot to the higher straight.

The 2 river was a brick, and Lovric secured the double-up.

Casagrande Back and in the Profit

Level 4 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Harald Casagrande
Harald Casagrande

Harald Casagrande reentered a few minutes ago and almost immediately tangled with Tomasz Kozub. They were heading to the Q52J turn on which Casagrande check-called for 7,500 and then checked again the 4 on the river.

Kozub bet 15,000 and Casagrande called after brief consideration to see the former turn over AK104 for a missed wrap and rivered pair of fours. Casagrande had that beat with the KQ52 for two pair and earned a healthy boost on his second attempt.

Albeck Forces Jachtmann River Fold

Level 4 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Samuel Albeck
Samuel Albeck

Samuel Albeck limped from early position, Levani Rozomashvili completed in the small blind, and Jan-Peter Jachtmann checked his option in the big blind.

On the 1094 flop, action was checked to Jachtmann, who fired out a bet of 3,000. Only Albeck called.

The J hit on the turn, and Jachtmann check-called in the face of a bet of 9,200 from Albeck.

The A river completed the board, and Jachtmann checked again. Albeck went for a bet of 16,000, and Jachtmann folded after a reasonable period of contemplation, lamenting "Why is it never easy?" at one point.
