They Are Not Finished Yet

Level 33 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Darius Neagoe raised to 1,000,000 and Rene Schnitzler called, then check-folded when the 532 flop saw Neagoe with a bet of 500,000.

Schnitzler raised the same amount on his next button for Neagoe to call, then check-fold to a bet of 600,000 on the KQ8 flop.

Neagoe changed the sizing to 900,000 preflop next, Schnitzler called. The outcome was the same, as Schnitzler check-folded the J42 flop when facing a bet of 500,000.

Schnitzler then rearranged his chair five centimetres to the the right and exclaimed "so, now we finish this." He jammed the button, Neagoe folded.

"Let's go blind all in," Rene Schnitzler suggested, but Darius Neagoe turned down the offer.

"He can't do it. He's married," Adrian State said from the rail.

"So? I'm also married," Schnitzler replied.

"Really?" State said.

"You look at me like I can't find a wife," Schnitzler added.

Schnitzler then raised to 1,000,000 on the button, and Neagoe called. Both players checked to the river on a board of KJ765 when Neagoe bet 3,000,000. Schnitzler quickly folded.

Neagoe then raised to 900,000 on the button, and Schnitzler called. The flop came KQ3 and Neagoe won the pot with a bet of 500,000.

The next hand, Schnitzler raised to 1,000,000, Neagoe moved all in, and Schnitzler folded.

Schnitzler Bad Beats Neagoe for a Double

Rene Schnitzler moved all in from the button, and Darius Neagoe instantly called to reveal his 66, and his opponent sighed.

"Damn, I only have pocket fours," Schnitzler said and rolled over the 44 to once again film the showdown.

The Q10547 board gave the German a set on the turn, and he doubled for 6,800,000, nearly evening out both stack sizes.

Neagoe limped the next button and Schnitzler checked to the QJ6 flop.

"No, I have to go all-in because you play better than me. Post flop is a very bad idea," Schnitzler said once he had checked. Neagoe checked back to the 2 turn on which Schnitzler checked again. Neagoe grabbed his stack but had not bet yet when Schnitzler already folded.

Darius Neagoe limped the button and Rene Schnitzler checked his option out of the big blind.

On the Q95 flop, both players elected to check and saw the A on the turn. Schnitzler check-called for 400,000 and did so again for 2,000,000 on the Q river.

Neagoe rolled over the A10 and that won the pot to extend his lead.

"I call you with jack-high, my friend," Schnitzler mentioned.

Darius Neagoe: A8

Gude was dominated and at risk going to the flop, which came Q52. The 2 turn gave him a flush draw while also opening the possibility of a chop, but Neagoe remained ahead on the 4 river to send Gude to the rail in third place.

"My friend. Good luck. Can I have a smoke break now?" Rene Schnitzler asked Neagoe as he came over to shake his hand. Neagoe agreed, and they headed off on a five-minute break before beginning heads-up play.

Schnitzler Doubles Through Neagoe

Level 33 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Darius Neagoe raised to 800,000 in the small blind and then instantly called when Rene Schnitzler pushed all in from the big blind.

Darius Neagoe: AJ

"King one time," Schnitzler said while recording on his phone and then added, "It will get difficult now," when the flop came AJ10. The Q turn, however, gave him Broadway. Neagoe had outs to boat up, but the 8 river was a blank. Schnitzler doubled for 4,950,000 and instantly said, "Sorry, my friend."

Neagoe replied, "No worries," without hesitation.

One hand later, Neagoe opened the button to 800,000 and Matthias Gude defended the big blind, then checked the AA5 flop. Neagoe bet 500,000 and won the pot.

Matthias Gude moved all in for 1,000,000 under the gun as action folded to Rene Schnitzler in the big blind. "I have a bad hand. Good luck friend," he said as he called.

Matthias Gude: K7 All in
Rene Schnitzler: J3

Gude hit top pair on the K10Q flop, while Schnitzler picked up a straight draw. The 5 turn was safe for Gude, while the river was the 3, and he doubled up.

The next hand, Elia Salerno raised to 2,000,000 under the gun, Gude shoved from the big blind, and Salerno called for an additional 25,000.

Elia Salerno: A4 All in
Matthias Gude: 22

"Fair fight," Schnitzler said, and the 102Q flop gave Gude a set. The turn was the 9, while the A arrived too late to save Salerno as he was eliminated in fourth place.
