Matthias Gude pushed all in first to act, and it folded to Rene Schnitzler in the big blind. He peeked at his cards and then said, "Good luck, my friend. I call," before pulling out his smartphone to record the outcome.
Matthias Gude: A♣4♣
Rene Schnitzler: A♦Q♣
The Q♦2♣2♠A♥5♦ board awarded the double to Schnitzler for 3,750,000, and Gude was left very short with the big blind and ante coming up next.
Elia Salerno jammed said next hand from under the gun, and Schnitzler checked his cards, then said he had a four. "I can only call when the other card is a four or the suited ace," he said and peeled, then folded the 7♠4♣ face-up.
Matthias Gude: K♥4♦
Elia Salerno: A♣8♠
The K♣7♥J♣10♥3♣ board kept Gude in the mix, who doubled for 375,000. Below are the updated counts for the final four players and their respective big blinds after the 15-minute break.

"The last nine minutes you have a chance to beat me. After I smoke, no chance," Rene Schnitzler said, holding his pack of cigarettes in his hand and carefully watching the tournament clock tick down towards the next break.
Darius Neagoe then raised to 600,000 under the gun, and Schnitzler three-bet to 1,100,000 on the button. "Finally, he finds ace-king," Schnitzler said. Neagoe called to see the A♦10♠8♣ flop.
"He just called," Schnitzler said to Neagoe's supporters sitting behind him. Both players checked to the 5♠ turn, where Schnitzler bet 800,000. Neagoe then raised to 2,000,000, Schnitzler came back with a reraise to 4,000,000, and Neagoe called.
The 4♦ river was checked down, and Neagoe showed 5♦5♥ for a set. "Nice hand," Schnitzler said as he mucked.

Darius Neagoe raised to 600,000 on the button and Rene Schnitzler three-bet to 2,000,000 in the small blind. Everyone folded and Neagoe asked Schnitzler to show his cards.
"I will show your friends," Schnitzler replied and flashed them to the Romanian rail one full table away.
"I trust you, don't tell him," Schnitzler mentioned to the Romanian rail and then exclaimed, "Ace-jack," to his opponent.
Elia Salerno opened to 2,000,000 on the button with less than that behind and claimed the blinds.
Schnitzler opened to 700,000 in the small blind, and Matthias Gude folded in the big blind.
Neagoe then min-raised and claimed the blinds.
Schnitzler made it 700,000 to go and won the next pot, flashing the 10♦10♥ before collecting the chips.

Darius Neagoe limped in from the small blind and Rene Schnitzler checked his option.
Both players checked to the turn on a board of 3♦5♠7♥6♠ when Schnitzler bet 600,000. Neagoe called and the 6♣ fell on the river.
Neagoe checked to Schnitzler again. "I give up," Schnitzler said, and Neagoe showed 9♥5♥ to win the pot with two pair.
Schnitzler then raised to 700,000 under the gun and Matthias Gude called on the button. Neagoe moved all in from the big blind and Schnitzler quickly folded, but Gude tanked for a minute until he also tossed his cards away.

"Does anyone want a toilet break?" Rene Schnitzler inquired, and his opponents shook their heads.
"Ah, it doesn't matter. If someone goes all-in, I will call blind," Schnitzler added thereafter.
Matthias Gude then raised to 600,000, and Darius Neagoe pushed all in from the small blind. Schlitzer in the big blind checked his cards and folded, as did Gude.
One hand later, Schnitzler raised to 700,000 without having looked at his cards. Gude in the big blind moved all in.
"Now we have to look together," Schnitzler told his fellow countryman. He first flipped over the Q♣ followed by the 4♠, and folded.
Elia Salerno limped his small blind two hands later, and Neagoe checked from the big blind to the Q♣8♦2♦ flop. Salerno check-called a bet of 425,000, and they checked the Q♦ on the turn. Another check by the Italian on the 4♣ river saw Neagoe bet for 1,400,000, and that won the pot uncontested.

Darius Neagoe raised to 600,000 on the button and Rene Schnitzler three-bet to 1,500,000 in the small blind. "Now have ace-king," Schnitzler said, but Neagoe folded and Schnitzler showed the 2♠.
"No Gamble, No Future," Neagoe's supporter Adrian State said from the rail.
"We sat beside each other on Day 1," Schnitzler said to him.
"You said you love to gamble," State replied.
"I love nothing more. Five days a week," Schnitzler added.
"Seven from Heaven. Always aces," Schnitzler then said as he opened to 700,000 in the small blind. Matthias Gude then three-bet to 2,000,000. "That's too much," Schnitzler said, sending his cards into the muck.
Schnitzler again raised to 700,000 the next two hands, and this time took the blinds and ante.

Elia Salerno min-raised the button and folded when Rene Schnitzler jammed out of the big blind.
One hand later, Schnitzler raised big from the small blind and Matthias Gude let go in the big blind.
"Faster, faster," Schnitzler motioned.
Schnitzler then raised the button to 800,000 in the next hand to claim the blinds.
"How much is the fine for smoking at the table?" Schnitzler inquired and the dealer instantly replied "five hundred Euros."
"Only five hundred Euro? Not banned from the tournament? But I can smoke the cigarette until the end?" Schnitzler continued while sitting half a meter away from a sign reading "Please no smoking, no vaping".
Schnitzler even called for the tournament director and repeated his question.
"I can actually disqualify you from the tournament," the answer came and that ended the discussion right there.

Matthias Gude moved all in from the small blind and Josef Gulas called for his last 600,000 in the big blind.
Josef Gulas: 9♥6♠
Matthias Gude: 10♦5♥
The board ran out 4♥K♠A♣7♠3♦ and Gude took the pot with ten-high to send Gulas to the rail in fifth place.
"The one who said no to a break is gone, so can we go now? Five minutes," Rene Schnitzler asked, again bringing up the subject of taking a quick break. Darius Neagoe, though, said he wanted to continue playing.
"I want to play the Main Event tomorrow," Neagoe said.
"Me also," Schnitzler replied.
Schnitzler then raised to 600,000 under the gun and Neagoe called in the big blind. Schnitzler continued for 350,000 on the K♣J♦3♦ flop, and Neagoe called.
Schnitzler bet another 900,000 on the 7♦ turn, and this time Neagoe folded. "Flush draw," Schnitzler said, showing A♣8♦ as he took the pot.
