Mzoughi Triples Up; Salerno Spikes a Set to Bust Dupont

Level 19 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Elia Salerno
Elia Salerno

Alberto Speranzoni raised to 32,000 in early position and Darius Neagoe called in the hijack. Karim Mzoughi then moved all in for 82,000 in the cutoff. Ian Simpson reraised to 160,000 on the button and Speranzoni folded, but Neagoe called to see the Q95 flop.

Simpson then bet 115,000 and Neagoe called. The 5 turn and J river were checked down, and Neagoe showed A9. Simpson had AQ for two pair, but Mzoughi turned over KK to win the pot and triple up.

At another table, Henry Dupont had moved all in for 220,000 from the button and Elia Salerno called in the hijack.

Henry Dupont: 99 All in
Elia Salerno: 88

Dupont had Salerno dominated and was poised for a double up until the flop brought K82, giving Salerno a set. The rest of the board came 76 and Dupont was sent to the rail.
