The final day of the 2025 World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) has arrived and two winners will be crowned today, both walking home with the coveted gold bracelet. All eyes will be set on the conclusion of the €10,350 Main Event at Europe's biggest poker arena in the King’s Resort, Rozvadov with eight hopefuls out of 659 entries returning to their seats on the live stream feature table. remain in contention for the lion's share of the €6,138,585 total prize pool with the top prize of €1,140,000 on everyone's mind.
Max Neugebauer is the third player in WSOP Europe history to reach the final table of the Main Event for the second time and sits in a prime position to repeat his victory from 2023 as he returns second in chips with 11,025,000 in chips. The only one ahead of the Austrian is Brazil's Murilo Garcia Pedroso with 13,400,000 while several other hopefuls are in close proximity.
European live poker veteran Claudio Di Giacomo (10,250,000) and Daniel Pidun (9,850,000) are separated by two big blinds only whereas Gerald Karlic (7,900,000), Teemu Jaatinen (6.975,000) and Catalin Pop (5,025,000) sit in the middle of the pack with at least 20 big blinds for the start of the grand finale.
The table short stack is Matthias Gude with 1,500,000, which represents a mere six big blinds. Gude won his entry to the flagship tournament one day prior to kick-off after he reached third place in Event #12: €1,500 No-Limit Hold'em Mystery Million and knows what it takes to combat the long hours.

The remaining eight participants will be back in action as of 4:00 p.m. local time to play down to a winner with the action recommencing in level 30, which features blinds of 125,000/250,000 and a 250,000 big blind ante. Since the final table is live-streamed with cards-up coverage and commentary available on the King’s Resort YouTube channel, the PokerNews live updates will follow the same delay of one hour in order to not spoil any of the action.
All eight finalists have already locked up a cash prize of at least €110,000 for their efforts whereas the eventual champion will claim ten times as much.

Jaatinen then opened to 550,000 in the cutoff and Murilo Garcia called in the big blind.
Both players checked to the river on a board of 10♣9♦8♣4♠7♦ when Jaatinen bet 1,200,000. Garcia called with 6♠5♣ for a straight, and Jaatinen mucked A♦5♦.

Matthias Gude pushed all-in for 1,500,000 from an early position in the fourth hand of the final day and Murilo Garcia used two time banks in the small blind before he called.

The inferior kicker for Gude was a problem, which he solved thanks to the 9♠4♠2♥7♣J♣ board to leap back into contention.

Max Neugebauer limped in from the small blind and Gerald Karlic checked his option.
Neugebauer checked the K♣J♦10♠ flop and Karlic bet 250,000. Neugebauer called to the 5♠ turn, where Karlic bet another 675,000. Neugebauer again called.
The river was the Q♠ and Neugebauer led out for 1,000,000. Karlic took a few seconds before calling, and Neugebauer showed K♠4♦ for a pair of kings. Karlic turned over J♣10♥ for two pair to win the pot.

Daniel Pidun raised to 525,000 with the A♠5♠ and Catalin Pop called in the cutoff with the 7♠7♣. Gerald Karlic was in the small blind and pondered about his next move with the A♦K♠. He then three-bet jammed with the largest stack and all opponents folded.
Pidun opened to 525,000 next with the 6♦6♣ and Teemu Jaatinen forfeited his big blind with the A♣4♠.
Max Neugebauer opened to 525,000 from the hijack with the A♦J♦ and Claudio Di Giacomo came along in the big blind holding A♠4♣, as they headed to the Q♥J♣10♥ flop. Di Giacomo checked and Neugebauer bet 500,000 to force out the Italian eventually.

Daniel Pidun then raised to 525,000 on the button and Garcia called in the small blind.
The flop came K♠8♠7♠ and Pidun bet 350,000. Garcia called and both players checked the J♣ turn.
Garcia also checked the J♥ river, Pidun bet 850,000, and Garcia snap-called. Pidun showed A♥Q♣ for ace-high, while Garcia had K♥Q♦ for two pair to win the pot.
