Marek Tomes raised to 1,500 under the gun and Sirzat Hissou called in early position.
The flop came K♦3♣7♥ and Tomes bet 500. Hissou called to see the 5♠ turn, where Tomes bet another 2,500. Hissou again called.
The river was the 5♦ and Tomes bet 10,000. Hissou tanked for several minutes, and the clock was eventually called. Hissou allowed his countdown to nearly reach zero before putting in the chips, and Tomes turned over 7♠7♣ for a full house to win the pot.
Ivan Banic raised to 1,000 in middle position before Corey Hochman three-bet to 2,300 in the hijack. Deniz Dogan called on the button, but Banic four-bet to 8,500. Hochman got out of the way, while Dogan called.
The flop came Q♣7♣8♦ and Banic continued for 6,000. Dogan then raised to 16,000 and Banic called.
Dogan bet another 15,000 on the 4♥ turn and Banic again called. The river was the 7♦ and Dogan moved all in for 36,100.
Banic called and turned over A♠A♣, while Dogan had 9♣6♣ for missed straight and flush draws as he headed to the rail.
Olivier Boesch was in the hijack with a raise of 12,200 in front of him as Sergii Baranov called in early position. Campbell Ashton then moved all in for 58,300 in middle position and Boesch called, while Baranov got out of the way.
Campbell Ashton: A♠Q♠
Olivier Boesch: A♣A♥
Ashton had run into Boesch's aces as the 4♣2♥4♥ flop failed to give him any additional outs. He was already drawing dead after the K♠ turn, while the 8♥ river sealed his elimination.
Three ways to the A♦K♥4♦J♣ turn, Klaus Goertz bet 5,000 and Martin Vittek raised to 25,000. Kai Nicholls called the raise and Goertz also called with a short stack behind. That led them to the 10♠ on the river which brought a four card straight on the board.
Goertz checked and Vittek moved all-in for 28,000. Nicholls called the shove with the covering stack and Goertz called all-in for 16,300 as well.
Vittek tabled the Q♠10♦ for broadway, Nicholls had 4♥4♣ for a set of fours and the A♥9♥ of Goertz spelled the end for the GGPoker qualifier.
There was an open from early position with Michael Dick calling on the button and Andreas Goeller calling from the small blind. Simon Wilson squeezed it up to 5,000 from the big blind, which only Dick and Goeller called.
Goeller checked the K♥8♣9♣ flop and Wilson laid out a continuation-bet of 6,000. Dick and Goeller quickly called.
The action checked to Dick on the K♠ turn and he jammed for 50,300. Goeller snap-folded, but Wilson went into the tank. After a while, the clock got called on Wilson, and when he had five seconds remaining on his countdown, he flicked in the call.
Michael Dick: 10♠8♥
Simon Wilson: A♥A♦
Wilson's pocket aces were ahead, and he just had to fade an eight on the river to win the pot and sent Dick to the rail.
The dealer burned a card, then produced the J♦ to complete the board. Wilson's bullets held up and Dick was out.
Luigi Curcio bet 2,800 from under the gun on a flop of K♣J♣2♥ and Andrea Radicchi called in the small blind.
The turn was the 3♦ and Curcio bet 5,700. Radicchi again called and the A♣ fell on the river. Curcio then bet 16,500, but this time Radicchi came back with an all-in shove.
Curcio had around 75,000 remaining and tanked for several minutes before folding.
At another table, Artem Kobylynskyi had raised to 5,800 on the button and Rene Baranek reraised to 13,900 in middle position. Kobylynskyi then made it 23,000, Baranek moved all in, and Kobylynskyi called for 68,500.
Artem Kobylynskyi: K♦K♠
Rene Baranek: A♠A♥
Kobylynskyi had run his kings into Baranek's aces, but he found a set on the K♣9♠4♦ flop to take the lead. The board ran out 4♠2♣ and Kobylynskyi doubled up, leaving Baranek on a short stack.
Rene Baranek was under the gun and down to less than 9,000 chips, which were all in the middle preflop in a hand against Artem Kobylynskyi in the hijack.
Rene Baranek: A♦J♣
Artem Kobylynskyi: 4♥4♦
Baranek was flipping for his tournament life, and the 8♥2♣Q♥ flop meant he was two cards from the rail. However, he did find salvation on the J♥ turn as he made a pair.
Kobylynskyi needed a four or a heart to earn the knockout, and a four is what he got as the 4♠ hit the river, giving him a set and sending Baranek to the rail.
Fausto Tantillo raised to 1,500 under the gun and picked up calls from El Mostafa Bel Khayate in the hijack and Alexander Zubov in the cutoff.
The flop came Q♦J♠6♥ and Tantillo bet 4,000. Only Bel Khayate called.
The 6♦ fell on the turn and Tantillo bet another 11,200. Bel Khayate again called to the 7♥ river, where Tantillo moved all in.
Bel Khayate called for his last 37,400 and Tantillo showed A♦K♦ for missed straight and flush draws. Bel Khayate had 6♠5♠ for trips to win the pot and double up.
Just one hand after doubling up off Fausto Tantillo, El Mostata Bel Khayate got involved again when he opened to 1,500 in middle position. Alexander Zubov three-bet to 5,000 in the hijack, and Bel Khayate called.
The flop came A♥7♥7♣ and Bel Khayate led out for 3,000. Zubov called and the Q♠ fell on the turn.
Bel Khayate then bet 19,000 and Zubov again called. The river was the K♣ and Bel Khayate bet 80,000, leaving himself 4,200 behind. Zubov then moved all in, and Bel Khayate called off his last chips.
He showed 7♦4♦ for trips, but Zubov had flopped a full house with A♠A♦ to send Bel Khayate to the rail.
Tomas Zeleny was on the button with a raise of 4,200 in front of him and Mikolaj Zawadzki called in the small blind. Marek Tomes then reraised to 12,600 under the gun and Zeleny called, while Zawadzki laughed and pointed his finger at Tomes.
"I call him the Captain," tablemate Viet Vo said as Zawadzki folded, going off to converse with Dominik Panka on the rail.
Tomes and Zeleny went heads-up to the A♦3♦4♦ flop where Tomes bet 8,900. Zeleny called and the 9♣ fell on the turn.
Tomes then bet 17,000 and Zeleny again called. The river was the J♦ and Tomes took a few minutes before betting 26,100. Zeleny also tanked for several minutes and eventually called.
"Ace-king with the king of diamonds," Vo said to Tomes, who indeed turned over A♥K♦ to win the pot.
At the next table over, Shashank Jain had raised to 7,500 on the button and Massoud Alyas called in early position. Anton Markachev then reraised to 21,000 in middle position, and only Alyas called.
Both players checked to the river on a board of A♣Q♦2♠A♦8♥ when Alyas led out for 25,000. Markachev considered the decision for several minutes until Alyas called the clock on him. Markachev eventually called, and Alyas showed 10♠8♠. Markachev, though, turned over J♣J♠ to win the pot.
