Gkatzas and Jaatinen Chip Up Without Showdown

Teemu Jaatinen raised to 240,000 and Gerald Karlic defended the big blind to the 1044 flop. Karlic check-raised from 120,000 to 520,000 and Jaatinen stuck around to the 8 turn. Another check by Karlic then saw Saatinen bet 425,000 and Karlic folded.

Jaatinen raised to 240,000 in the next hand, Catalin Pop on the button and short stack Dimitrios Gkatzas in the big blind called. The 872 flop was checked to Pop, who bet 225,000. Gkatzas called and Jaatinen sent his cards into the muck.

No betting action came with the Q turn and Gkatzas made it 225,000 to go on the 6 river with just 445,000 behind. That was enough to win the pot as Pop also surrendered.

Pidun Gets Away With a Bluff Shove on the River

Level 27 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Dimitrios Gkatzas raised to 240,000 in the cutoff and Max Neugebauer and Daniel Pidun came along in the blinds.

Gkatzas continued for 300,000 on the 953 flop and only Pidun called. The turn was the 2 and Gkatzas bet another 700,000. Pidun again called.

The river was the 9 and Pidun slid forward a tower of chips to put Gkatzas all in. Gkatzas let out a deep sigh and quickly folded. Pidun threw 74 into the middle of the table and dragged in the big pot.

"I had six-eight," Gkatzas said.

Gallitzendoerfer Leads Two Times

With QJ, Ivan Banic raised to 240,000 on the button and Bastian Gallitzendoerfer called from the big blind holding 87.

Gallitzendoerfer decided to lead out for 275,000 on the AQ9 flop and Banic stuck in the call.

A 9 dropped on the turn and Gallitzendoerfer bet again, this time for 300,000. Banic returned his cards to the dealer and surrendered the pot to Gallitzendoerfer.

The K fell on the river and Pop decided to check. Gkatzas fired out 550,000 and Pop quickly called.

Gkatzas immediately mucked his cards, which meant Pop pulled in the pot without having to show.
