Pidun Wins Pot With The "Nuts"

Level 27 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Daniel Pidun
Daniel Pidun

Gerald Karlic made it 240,000 to go and was called only by Daniel Pidun in the big blind, which led them to the 642 flop. Pidun opted to check-call for 180,000, and Catalin Pop joked to Max Neugebauer, "Five-three always nuts."

The 4 turn was checked, and the same also applied for the K on the river. Pidun flipped over 33 and Karlic mucked his cards high, exposing a black jack for a split second.

"Nuts, nuts," Pidun said while he raked in the pot.

Neugebauer Spikes the River to Survive

Level 27 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Max Neugebauer
Max Neugebauer

Catalin Pop raised to 240,000 in the hijack and Max Neugebauer called in the big blind.

The flop came 632 and Pop bet 340,000. Neugebauer then moved all in for 1,510,000, and Pop snap-called.

Max Neugebauer: 53 All in
Catalin Pop: QQ

Neugebauer had a pair and straight draw but needed to improve against Pop's two queens. The 10 turn was no help, but the 5 fell on the river to give Neugebauer two pair and the double up.

"Yay!" Gerald Karlic said.

"Yay!" Neugebauer repeated, raising his arms in the air.

Ashelm Doubles Through Gallitzendoerfer

Level 27 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Murilo Garcia made it 240,000 to go from under the gun with the JJ, and Bastian Gallitzendoerfer called in the hijack with the 98. Robert Ashelm came along on the button with the K10. Both blinds folded, and they headed three ways to the K43 flop.

Garcia checked his pocket pair, and so did Gallitzendoerfer with the flush draw. Ashelm moved all in, and Garcia folded, while Gallitzendoerfer called.

The 8 turn gave Gallitzendoerfer more outs, but the 5 river was a blank. Ashelm collected his double.

Neugebauer Gets Even Shorter

Level 27 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Teemu Jaatinen raised to 240,000 in the cutoff and Catalin Pop defended the big blind to the 1084 flop, on which the Romanian check-folded to a bet of 350,000.

Jaatinen then made it 240,000 to go once more in the very next hand. Max Neugebauer three-bet to 600,000 in the cutoff, and the action folded back to the initial raiser. With two seconds left on the clock, Jaatinen moved all in, and Neugebauer folded instantly.

The next hand saw an open-shove of Neugebauer for 1,595,000, and he won the blinds as well as the big blind ante.

Di Giacomo Picks Off Gude

Level 27 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Claudio Di Giacomo raised to 240,000 in the hijack and was called by Murilo Garcia on the button and big blind Matthias Gude.

All three players checked the 432 flop. Gude then bet 130,000 on the K turn, and both opponents called.

Gude bet another 550,000 on the 3 river, and only Di Giacomo called this time. Gude showed A8 for a missed flush draw, while Di Giacomo had A2 for two pair to win the pot.

Karlic the Last Standing From Four-Way Raising War

Level 27 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Max Neugebauer raised to 240,000 in the hijack before Daniel Pidun three-bet to 660,000 in the cutoff.

Action went on Catalin Pop on the button who four-bet to 1,150,000. Gerald Karlic then moved all in from the small blind.

Neugebauer and Pidun quickly folded, while Pop turned over 1010 and tossed them into the muck. Karlic showed only the A as he took the pot.

"I had the red ones," Pidun said to Pop, admitting he also had two tens. "Finally, I get a hand and something crazy," he added.

"I can't say the same. We got robbed," Pop replied.

Matthias Gude raised to 325,000 under the gun and Murilo Garcia called in the small blind.

The flop came 1043 and Gude bet 200,000. Garcia called to the 4 turn.

Both players checked to the 9 river, where Gude bet another 700,000. Garcia called with AQ, but Gude showed QQ to win the pot.

Neugebauer Faces Resistance

Level 27 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Max Neugebauer opened to 250,000 on the button and Daniel Pidun in the small blind three-bet to 750,000, forcing out Catalin Pop and Neugebauer.

One hand later, Teemu Jaatinen made it 240,000 to go and Neugebauer three-bet to 540,000 in the cutoff. Jaatinen flat-called and the AK4 flop saw the Finn check first to act. Once Neugebauer bet 300,000, Jaatinen check-raised to 700,000 and Neugebauer tossed in calling chips after brief consideration.

The Q followed on the turn and Jaatinen double-checked his cards with sixteen seconds left on the shot clock. His first time bank expired and the dealer grabbed towards the time bank cards to spread them, confusing Jaatinen for a split second. Within the next allocated 30 seconds, Jaatinen bet 950,000 and Neugebauer folded.
