Robert Zipf Eliminated in 11th Place (€8,750)

Level 28 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Robert Zipf
Robert Zipf

Hans Thumann opened to 130,000 under the gun, and Robert Zipf moved all-in from the small blind for 160,000. Lukas Timko called in the big blind, as did Thumann.

On the Q42 flop, Timko jammed for 445,000, and Thumann called.

Robert Zipf: AK All in
Hans Thumann: A9 All in
Lukas Timko: 87

Zipf was ahead at the moment, but had plenty of outs to dodge, both of his opponents holding flush draws.

The 8 hit on the river to put Timko in front with a pair of eights, and the 2 river was a brick to bust Zipf and damage Thumann. much to Timko's delight.

Jose Puertas

Leonardo Ludovisi opened to 125,000 from the cutoff, and Jose Puertas three-bet jammed for 210,000 from the small blind.

Mariusz Klabisch cold-called in the big blind, and Ludovisi called as well.

The A109 flop was checked to the 7 turn, where Klabisch check-called in the face of a bet of 350,000 from Ludovisi.

The 10 river was then checked through.

Puertas tabled KJ for king-high with the board pair of tens, Klabisch had QJ for queen-high with the board pair, but Ludovisi was delighted to take the pot with 97 for two pair, tens and nines.

He celebrated with gusto with a friend on the rail.

Roman Isaienko opened from middle position to 120,000 and Leonardo Ludovisi defended his big blind.

The flop came 5104 and after Ludovisi checked, Isaienko bet 125,000. Ludovisi then raised to 380,000, Isaienko shoved around 900,000, and Ludovisi called.

Roman Isaienko: A10 All in
Leonardo Ludovisi: K5

Ludovisi had a pair and a flush draw, up against the top pair of Isaienko. Both parties didn't need to wait long to see their fate as the 3 turn locked up the pot for Ludovisi, and ended Isaienko's run. The 7 on the river was just a formality, and Isaienko headed to the payout desk.

Hans Thumann
Hans Thumann

The previous hand was still being discussed at the table, when Michal Schuh opened under the gun to 125,000, and Hans Thumann three-bet jammed from the big blind for 430,000. Schuh made the quick call.

Hans Thumann: 44 All in
Michal Schuh: AK

It was a flip, and Thumann held over the 9556J runout.

"Karma, Hansi, karma" said table mate Robert Zipf as Thumann held.

Schuh Wins Bizarre Hand After Thumann Check-Raises River with Exposed Card

Level 28 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Michal Schuh
Michal Schuh

Hans Thumann limped the small blind, and Michal Schuh checked his option.

On the A103 flop, Thumann led out with a bet of 110,000, and Schuh called.

The 2 hit on the turn, and Thumann fired again, this time with a bet of 150,000. Schuh again called.

It was at this point that things got weird. Thumann attempted to peel his cards, but made a handling error which meant Schuh saw one, which he stated was the 3.

The dealer checked Thumann's card, and it was indeed the 3. He was forced to expose it.

The 7 hit on the river, and Thumann checked. Schuh slid out a bet of 150,000, but Thumann responded with a check-raise to 400,000, much to the amusement of the table.

Schuh himself was laughing, but made the call after a bit of thought. Thumann's K3 was no good versus Schuh's A4 for a pair of aces.

Schuh Checks Back a Set

Level 28 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Michal Schuh raised from under the gun to 120,000 and Paul Covaciu called in the small blind. Hans Thumann also called from the big blind.

On the flop of Q95, it checked to Schuh, who bet 155,000. Covaciu folded, but Thumann called to watch the J hit the turn. Both checked, as they did on the 8 river, and Thumann showed 98 for two pair.

That was no good, though, as Schuh checked back a set with 55 to win the pot.

Deeb Thinks About Shoving on Covaciu

Level 28 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Shaun Deeb opened from the cutoff and Paul Covaciu defended his big blind.

On the 7610 flop, both checked to the 7 turn, where Covaciu bet 130,000. Deeb called to the 9 river, where he was faced with a bet of 425,000 from Covaciu.

Deeb was in the tank for quite some time, but eventually laid down what he said to be ten-nine for top two, and convinced Covaciu to show 85 for a straight.

"I was thinking about shoving," Deeb said.

"That would have been sick, I don't know if I can call," replied Covaciu.

Leonardo Ludovisi

Asaf Adato limped from the small blind, and called a raise to 155,000 from Leonardo Ludovisi in the big blind.

The 753 flop was checked to the A turn, where Adato led out with a bet of 105,000, and Ludovisi called.

The 5 river completed the board, and Adato checked. Ludovisi fired out a bet of 265,000, and after a bit of thought, Adato folded.

Ludovisi tabled 104 for ten-high, and scooped the pot.

Fabio Peluso Eliminated in 14th Place (€7,050)

Level 27 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Fabio Peluso
Fabio Peluso

Michal Schuh opened to 100,000 from the button, and Fabio Peluso defended the big blind.

On the 742 flop, Peluso check-raised to 205,000 in the face of a continuation bet of 80,000 from Schuh. Schuh quickly rejammed with the covering stack, and Peluso got the rest of his roughly 450,000 total stack into the middle.

Fabio Peluso: K4 All in
Michal Schuh: A3

Peluso was ahead with second pair fours, but Schuh had his flush draw covered and a gutshot, along with the overcard to the board.

The 6 hit on the turn to leave Peluso drawing dead, and he had left the table and wished his opponents good luck before the 5 river was dealt.
