Kohl Trips Up Sare

Level 39 : Blinds 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante

Heger Sare limped in from the small blind, and Jan Kohl checked his option.

Sare checked to Kohl on the J73 flop, and Kohl bet 1,100,000. Sare came back with a raise to 2,400,000, and Kohl called.

Both players checked the 7 turn. Sare also checked the 10 river before Kohl bet 2,500,000. Sare called with A10 for two pair, but Kohl had Q7 for trips to win the pot.

Sarah Link Eliminated in 5th Place (€38,250)

Level 39 : Blinds 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante
Sarah Link
Sarah Link

Sarah Link made it 5,500,000 to go from under the gun, leaving herself just 300,000 behind. Jan Kohl then shoved the button, and when it got back to Link, she called.

Sarah Link: A10 All in
Jan Kohl: 99

It was a fair fight, but one that Link needed to win if she wanted to stay alive. A flop of 64J didn't offer much help, but she did pick up a few more outs on the K turn with both straight and flush draws.

Unfortunately for Link, the 6 river was a brick, which left her on the sidelines in fifth.

Vittek Can't Wait to Get It In

Level 39 : Blinds 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante

Stepan Budac raised to 1,600,000 under the gun and Martin Vittek defended the big blind.

The flop came 1065 and Budac bet 1,300,000. He barely had enough time to put the chips in the middle before Vittek announced all in for 8,100,000.

"Will you show if I fold?" Budac asked, taking a few seconds before folding 88. Vittek flashed Q10 as he took the pot.

Link and Sare Both Shove

Level 39 : Blinds 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante

Sarah Link got a shove through with A10 from the small blind as Heger Sare flashed the worst starting hand in poker, 72, from the big blind.

Budac then made it 1,600,000 to go with AJ in the cutoff and Sare shoved AQ for 8,800,000 from the small blind. Budac elected to lay down his hand, and Sare chipped up.

Stepan Budac raised to 1,200,000 in the hijack, Michal Szczeblewski moved all in for 4,125,000 in the small blind, and Budac called.

Michal Szczeblewski: 1010 All in
Stepan Budac: KQ

It was an exact 50-50 coin flip, and the J95 flop gave Budac outs to a straight with one of the remaining two tens. The 9 turn took away those outs, but he still caught the Q on the river to win the pot and send Szczeblewski to the rail in sixth place.

Budac, who was down to less than two big blinds at one point during this final table, pulled nearly even with Jan Kohl for the chip lead with that pot.

All three players checked the 742 flop. Budac then led out for 1,600,000 on the A turn, and only Link called.

Martin Vittek moved all in for 3,900,000 from the small blind with J9 and Stepan Budac gave up his big blind.

Jan Kohl then picked up AA in the cutoff and raised to 1,200,000. Sarah Link called in the big blind, and they saw a flop of KQ2.

Kohl then bet 1,700,000, and Link quickly folded 98.
