Ghosh, What a River!

Level 27 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Asish Ghosh
Asish Ghosh

Frank Schuler raised to 115,000 from under the gun and Asish Ghosh jammed for 975,000 from middle position. Elia Salerno called for his stack of 500,000 and Schuler reluctantly folded.

Elia Salerno: AK All in
Asish Ghosh: AQ

Salerno's big slick had Ghosh dominated heading to the 963 flop, where neither player improved. Salerno picked up a flush draw on the 2 turn, which took away one of Ghosh's outs. However, the Q completed the board, giving Ghosh the win with a pair of queens.

Salerno bolted up from his chair and stood at the table, stunned for a few moments at having been eliminated in such a brutal fashion.

Szczeblewski Has Dascalescu Out-Kicked

Level 27 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Robert Dascalescu bet 165,000 from the hijack on a flop of 953 and Michal Szczeblewski called in middle position.

Both players checked the J turn. Szczeblewski then led out for 305,000 on the 7 river, and Dascalescu snap-called.

Szczeblewski showed AJ and Dascalescu shook his head as he tossed the J into the muck.

Roman Pressures Valtatzis

Level 27 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Nikolaos Valtatzis opened from middle position and Bogdan Roman defended his big blind.

Both checked the 4910 flop to the 3 turn, where Roman led out for 95,000. Valtatzis called.

A J on the river made the board a little wetter as both straight and flush draws came in, which prompted Roman to shove. Valtatzis had around 500,000 behind and didn't have much of a decision as he snap-folded, which meant Roman added to his stack.

Okhotskyi Chips Up, Konopka Survives

Level 27 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Karol Konopka was all-in and awaited his fate while the larger side pot was played out between Oleh Okhotskyi and Vagke Sagkinian. The turn showed 10868 and Okhotskyi bet 165,000. Sagkinian called, while Konopka was shaking his head already.

Okhotskyi also bet the 6 river for 255,000, and Sagkinian folded. Konopka showed his 109 and that chopped the main pot, as Okhotskyi had 109.

Suman Leaves Konopka with Crumbs

Level 27 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Karol Konopka
Karol Konopka

Nedzib Suman and Karol Konopka just got all in preflop in a pot of roughly 1,000,000.

Nedzib Suman: KQ All in
Karol Konopka: 1010

Suman had slightly fewer chips than Konopka, so he was the player at risk. A flop of K46 gave Suman the lead, having paired his king. Konopka didn't improve on the 2 turn or A river, and he was back down to the tournament's starting stack, less than the small blind.

Szczeblewski Chips Up Without Showdown

Level 27 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

The heads-up turn of J72K was checked by both Michal Szczeblewski and Miroslav Salaj before the former led the 10 river for 225,000. Salaj instantly sighed and went into the tank for nearly two minutes before he folded.

"What did you have?" Szczeblewski asked, but didn't get any answer.
