Level 25 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Daniel Knuth
Daniel Knuth

Daniel Knuth raised to 250,000 from the hijack and Antonios Onoufriou called from the big blind.

The flop came 10J6 and after Onoufriou checked, Knuth bet 125,000. Onoufriou then raised to 325,000, which Knuth called.

A 7 on the turn checked through to the 4 river, where Onoufriou bet 250,000. Knuth then shoved for 1,105,000, and after burning through several time banks, Onoufriou called and showed KJ for a flush. Knuth had the best hand the whole way with his A5 for the nut flush, and scooped a big pot.

Karim Sticking Around

Level 25 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Zdenek Zizka opened the cutoff to 240,000 and then called the shove of Michel Karim, who moved all in from the big blind for 340,000.

Michel Karim: K9 All in
Zdenek Zizka: K4

Karim had a chance to get back into it, and he took that opportunity as the 821095 runout meant he doubled up.

Stephan Klam Eliminated in 15th Place (€7,150)

Stephan Klam
Stephan Klam

Stephan Klam moved all in for 740,000 under the gun and Michel Karim called in middle position. Action then folded to Ratmir Kesidis in the big blind who used two time banks before reshoving for 2,155,000. Karim tanked for a minute, but eventually called to put both players at risk.

Ratmir Kesidis: AJ All in
Michel Karim: KQ

Kesidis' supporters crowded around the table to await the flop in the massive three-way pot, but he was left shaking his head as the 1043 flop gave Karim a flush draw.

The 5 turn was safe for Kesidis, while the river was the 8, and his ace-jack-high played to scoop the entire pot, earning a double up off Karim while sending Klam to the rail in 15th place.

Giovanni Giudice Eliminated in 16th Place (€6,000)

Level 24 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Giovanni Giudice
Giovanni Giudice

Ratmir Kesidis limped in from early position and Giovanni Giudice made it 300,000 to go from middle position. Oleh Okhotskyi was in the small blind and four-bet to 780,000, which got Kesidis to fold, but Giudice called after using a time bank.

A flop of 98A hit the table and a continuation-bet of 540,000 came in from Okhotskyi, which Giudice called to the 4 turn. A snap-shove then followed from Okhotskyi, and two time banks later, Giudice called off his stack of 1,400,000.

Giovanni Giudice: AQ All in
Oleh Okhotskyi: AK

It was brutal for Giudice, who needed a queen on the river to stay alive, otherwise Okhotskyi would be a huge chip leader with two tables to go.

One player did improve on the river, but unfortunately for Giudice, it wasn't him as the K gave Okhotskyi two pair and the huge pot.
